Great place to take a family or multiple kids small good for school they let you do your own thing and if you want to ask him to get above they will but otherwise you could do your own thing that's great very simple this is fun and for the kids that may not be as interested in the gyms as I thought there is a playground a gym K they can go in and explore and another little place that right there by the washboards so the parents can be with one kid washing and watch the other kid play on the playset like I ended up doing lol.they also have an indoor area too for rain or cold w[resv] easy to get to right off the highway all you do is go on the website pick up date and time pay the holding fee for space at the paning line then when you get there you pick ur bag small med lrg pay then pan.I chose the 5gbucket because I thought we would blow through it but not the case it was a lot! not all dirt either found many cool stones still have three bags of pay that I still haven't even panned it's amazing how much was in there I found amethyst pieces Crystal smoked quartz Garnet tiger's eye pyrite so awesome I've even made necklace out of one for my daughter I'm going to make one for my wife soon but it has a lot more than any other one I've ever been 2 in other places and not just tiny pieces either I definitely recommend checking this place out I did it for my kids and nationally and I do like stones and minerals but I had a wrote me and my wife had a great time doing it more so than the kids go to the website check it out and go have some fun Outdoors learn something...

What a wonderful place to go with your children for a family experience. Or go with some friends to pan for gems. Or just go by yourself and relax while you sort through crystals? I went with my sister and we got the collectors bucket, the mega load bucket, and a jackpot bucket.
I loved the collectors bucket. Mostly tumbled gems, some nice carved stones, great bucket if you're not into raw stones. The mega bucket had so many gems to sort through! If you're not the best as determining raw crystals (such as sapphire or ruby) from plain rocks, this bucket can be a little frustrating as it's made with gravel rather than sand. The staff were wonderful! So friendly and would walk by and tell us about the different stones we had found so far.
This is definitely a beautiful, relaxing, family friendly place that is...

Truthfully my negative experience is based only on how embarrassed she made me feel in front of a line of people when I honestly feel like the mistake was theirs, not my own. We paid (without them honoring their discount) and my kids still had the experience, but it wasn't pleasant for me after that. I had a 1 star experience, but I'll add a star for my kids enjoying it...
