Simply sensational
If you’re looking for a beautiful waterside, private and quiet park to relax take a walk read a book listen to music or just spend quality time alone or with your family. We highly recommend Peabody Park and Appleton.
Peabody Park is located down the hill on the water
It is a quiet park that most people tend to overlook. If you choose to sit by the water, they have tons of wide-open space to stretch out a picnic blanket or take advantage of the swings they have facing the water.
If you choose to sit on the opposite side, simply cross the road and they have a small pavilion with lots of wide open space to play frisbee or your favorite sport. The park goes in underneath the road as you will see.
This particular park is not only comfortable and enjoyable in the summer spring and fall, but the winter as well.
We enjoyed it last winter with friends and children and brought their sled. They have a slight incline on the walls. The park sits a remainder of kettle Moraine …so it does have a steep incline around the edges as you will see.
We love coming to Peabody Park and have been enjoying this area for over 30 years. The park is very clean and low-key. We highly recommend coming here for a relaxing day with friends and family.
Namaste!...

The park itself has a large grassy area, a basketball court and a play area. There are also some benches that overlook the Fox River. It is a nice place to relax, very secluded from the...
Read moreIt's a cute park down by the river, but secluded. It wouldn't be place I would let my kids go alone due to the water across the street from the park and the woods in back of the park. It's very shady so it can get a little buggy. The play equipment is pretty nice and the bathrooms are clean. Had a picnic there a couple of times, and there were lots of bees, but that can be a common occurrence when picnicking just...
