🌟 please note this is a hometown / handcrafted café. It is not a fast food restaurant. When dining here please be patient as the staff prepares your food and beverages. Relaxing in the café “is” the experience!!! 💫

🌟I have waited for a quaint neighborhood café like this for a very long time. (1940s style home & eatery) Shannon runs this warm and welcoming neighborhood restaurant. Kudos to Shannon and how lucky "WE" to have such a beautiful café in Appleton Wi. (Gush!)

🌟I swing into Moon water Café on average, once a week with gal pals. The location is perfect and easily accessible from College or Wisconsin Ave. Parking in the back or on either side street. Two entrances front and back to keep traffic flowing. Plenty of cozy seating inside, out front as well as on the back patio. (KUDOS!) Shannon's decor is very cottage chic and eclectic.

🌟Everyone that works for Shannon is extremely friendly and helpful offering lots of delicious suggestions. Although everything is divine, one of my favorites is her chicken curry soup, iced Matcha, and for dessert the lemon cupcake. For anyone out there that likes dessert I highly recommend these cupcakes. They are extremely moist and taste as if they were made with REAL lemon curd... not only in the cupcake base, but in the frosting as well. Light and delicious. AHHH!

🌟When I look around at all the wonderful people that gather at Shannon's café I get a positive vibe and I feel like I'm home. Congratulations Shannon on expanding your restaurant recently... Everything looks absolutely sensational!

The barista made a negative comment about my modification (asked for no mushrooms). Thought it was weird he was invested in what I was eating.

The breakfast hash was mushy. Maybe this is me? Is hash supposed to be sad mushy veg? It was gross mainly texture based but not much flavor either. No sauce, hardly any seasoning. I was not a fan. The egg was done perfectly, that was the only redeeming quality of the dish.

It was also a pile of loose veg served on a TEENY tiny saucer. Think like a teacup saucer plate. It was piled up high and every forkful was an avalanche of veggies all over the table.

As a mom I always notice when a changing table is missing in the bathroom too. No kiddo with me on this visit but mental note not to come here with diaper wearing kiddos.

This sounds pretty negative so far BUT the Atmosphere and coffee here are REALLY good. I will be back, but I may not come hungry next time based on...

Holy sweet baby jesus I love this place. Let me tell you about the grilled cheese. It's amazing. The secret ingredient: cheese. It's always cheese. There is nothing that this sandwich won't fix. Shannon, Oliver, and Mary in the kitchen work like a well-oiled machine, they are a top-notch unit of dedicated individuals. Together they make up SEAL Team 6, their mission: to serve the best food and present the best service in town. Is there anything these friggin' people can't do?? When mass looting and pillaging begins, I want them on my survival squad. Let me talk about the service. It's fast. It's so friggin' fast that Vin Diesel came in and didn't even have time to get furious. Going anywhere else besides Moon Water Cafe would be as useful as rearranging the deck chairs on...
