Books have always had a special place in my heart. This library in particular has definitely helped fuel my passion.

They have a wonderful selection of books for children, teenagers and adults. Great place to do research, borrow magazines, or even get some DVDs!

The programs at the library are very extensive, I thoroughly enjoyed their summer reading program, which was very rewarding! They have an event calendar that is pretty jam packed with various activities catered for everyone of all ages! One of the worst library experiences I’ve had in California. Staff members here are consistently unhelpful and often come across as rude, especially towards children. It’s disheartening to see a public library—meant to support learning and community—treat kids like they’re a nuisance.

The policies feel more like a money-making operation than a public service. Book loan periods are very short (just 2 weeks), there are no reminder notices, and late fees are excessive. I was charged $80 for a couple of overdue items, and a friend of mine got charged $132.

I have been living in Arcadia for almost about 10 years and half, and library has been the perfect place for anyone to come and study. Library itself is an awesome place but I am giving two stars just so that representatives for passport service notice my review. We had our US passport applications processed here and we ended up having to resend our passport back to have our names corrected. The person who helped us is generous and helpful, but he must fix his handwriting so that future applicants do not go through the same issue as us.
