Come here mainly for pole via Classpass but haven't been back because it's been costing over 15+ credits, but I love Ruby the instructor so wanted to give her her flowers in this review.
Story time - I've taken a class once elsewhere, it was my first class in a long time and that instructor basically just left me out in the cold as she tended to her more experienced students, chatting and cackling away with them as she gave me random conditioning exercises to do. I felt very alone (and also out of shape) that I was too scared to ever go back to another pole class.
Two years later I decide to take a class with Ruby and that was completely night and day. Everyone in the class was so sweet and encouraging and even though I was new and inexperienced, Ruby gently reminded me that everyone always start somewhere and that we should always be proud of our progress, big or small.
So if you ever want to try pole, Ruby is an excellent instructor to get you started. She's so talented and really cares about her students and their success and I feel very lucky to get to learn from her.

They not only teach the movements but also provide detailed explanations on how the muscles engage, how to perform correctly, and how to maintain a neutral body position in daily life. I've been doing it for three months (2-3 times a week), and my posture has improved a lot. I can clearly feel that my muscles are growing and my fat is losing. My shoulders, neck, and back feel so much better, I wish I had started practicing it earlier. It's a lifesaver for those of us who sit at a desk for long hours!
