Mo-Mo-Paradise Arcadia — Restaurant in Arcadia

We came in on Sunday with reservations for 4 people at 6:45pm and checked in at 6:35pm. After we checked in, one of the staff looked at their Ipad and said "OMG 6:45pm..." like something was wrong. We quickly found out what the issue was when a staff member (Arlene) decided to approach us at 6:55pm and say "We have a table ready for you but there's only 1 burner for 4 of you guys".

Under normal circumstances we would be okay with this but we're in a Pandemic and me and my girlfriend just aren't comfortable yet with sharing food from the same bowl with other people not living with us. We asked them if we could just wait for a table to accommodate our 4 party reservation correctly with 2 burners and Arlene quickly started giving us attitude saying "Well you're gonna have to wait until 8:30pm if you want that"

While we were waiting, we saw 2 other parties of 4 people get seated at tables with 2 burners so we asked Arlene why we couldn't just get the next available 2 burner table so we wouldn't have 4 adults sharing 1 pan. Arlene with even more attitude says "Well they all have earlier reservations than you guys... at 6:30pm so you guys are just going to have to wait until 8:30pm".

We get it. It's the weekend and you guys are busy (hence why I came in with a reservation made from days ago) but putting 4 people in a table made for 2 people because you somehow gave away our table is just wrong. When you screw up, admit the mistake and try to accommodate your guest. We will understand that. But lying to your customers, giving them attitude, and only offering them a table 2 hours from their reservation time is not an acceptable...

I usually don’t write bad reviews but today’s experience is very unpleasant. I knew their last seating for lunch is for 2 o’clock pm so I had my girlfriend went there first around 1:30 and let the host know that we have party of 4 while I’m still on the way with 2 of my other friends and ETA was 1:50 pm. Now here is the catch, my girlfriend specifically told the front host all parties will arrived before 2:00, should we make a reservation for it and front host told her “you can just walk in as long as before 2:00 pm and I will take you guys in” but when we all got there and ready to sit down, front host came and told us that” oh sorry, both sections are closed and last available open table just got taken for walk in , I can’t accept you guys anymore, you should’ve come in bit earlier” and at that moment I was really like … because my girlfriend did make very clear with her that we were on the way and would be here before 2:00 pm. Now I can understand and accept if we passed their last seating time or even if she told my girlfriend upfront we won’t accept you guys if not all parties are here at the time when my girlfriend went in and asked at 1:30 pm. But how this can be acceptable when we already make it very clear with the host upfront? what kinda excuse is this? I really hope the management team can look into this matter and train your employee to do...

Came in for dinner. Check in and get seated right away... table is ready right away... First of all the server was explaining everything in the menu... so after he done explained. He gave us a couple minutes to take a look at their menu.

*Menu was layed out nicely and print cleary and easy to see... *We decided to get sukiyaki and kimchi broth in a cool ying-yang pot... And all the veggies are freshhhh!!!! Several types of noodles, tofu and enokies... too many options that i cant even name it one by one. *Meat is amazing quality, cut nicely and decent portion. Their drinks options also so many... from sodas, milk teas or just teas. They have it all... even has topping for the milk teas or teas. Such as coffee jelly, boba, lychee jelly... thats a plus... Where else you can find hot pot and boba drinks at the same time. Lol!! *They also have curry there. My son said its so good....

Mo-Mo definetly has the quantity and quality!!! Also their service was amazing great!!!! *Ronny the manager is really friendly and nice guy! *Jeff was our server was really great and accomodate us in great timely manner.

At the end, they also served us ice cream as dessert. We got cookie and cream ice cream. My son was super happy with the ice cream as well... Thank you Mo-Mo paradise for provided us a great service, and also awesome quality meal here. Will be...
