Archbold Memorial Park — Attraction in Archbold

Good place to take the kids. They have several benches around the perimeter that all allow a good view of your child at play (it's helpful for those parents who are learning not to helicopter over their kids). Their is also a small picnic table under a tiny gazebo great for snacking or getting kids out of the sun.

To the north of playground their is a sheltered area that has several picnic tables and a men's and women's bathroom. The dining area is clean, and free of trash. It also helps that there are around 2700 trash cans (kidding...kinda). You can't swing a cat by it's tail without knocking two cans over (I love my two cats, by the way).

The bathrooms have been clean both times I've been in there. However, i wish they would install something brighter than two 15 watt bulbs in there. It's basically a bathroom with the lighting of a romantic dinner, and the smell of the African safari exhibit at the Toledo Zoo.

Either way, it's enjoyable enough. The parking is very close, and if the wind is just right, you can smell the Big Macs cooking at McDonald's...

Park was okay enough, parking lot was filled with two cops chewing out a group of underage drinkers. The speech was too wordy and uninspired, I recommend drinking...
