Mt. Baker is one of my favorite ski spots in Washington—I've been coming here for years. It’s a smaller resort, but that means fewer crowds and rarely any lift lines. The terrain is especially great for advanced skiers, though there’s something for all levels. It also gets a ton of snow, making it perfect for powder lovers. The views from the top are breathtaking, and the lodge food is solid. Chains are usually required in winter, so come prepared. I personally prefer parking in the lower lot—less hassle and easy access to the lifts. A true gem of a mountain!

Winter Wonderland experience! Weather, you're snow shoeing, skiing, or sledding this beautiful place has you covered. Driving there requires a prepared mindset. Snow Chains are often required, so go with the right vehicle. Parking can be crowded. Dress for the cold. This destination is loaded with mountain views.

Nice place to get out and take some turns. I'm sure the mountain would be awesome on a powder day but I haven't had the luck of catching it on a day like that yet. We really enjoy the runs off of chair 5. Parking is kinda a mess but not horrible. Pricing is still reasonable and the only really long lines were on the beginner run lifts. The views are amazing from all sorts of areas on the hill. Being the closest resort to our home in the San juan Islands we will keep...
