As a vendor, Hearts N HangUps, I went to the Strawberry Festival this year to ‘Bling on the Rainbows 🌈 “. Apparently my wish for rainbows was somewhat deviated because on Saturday June 16 what the heavens were delivering was rain. With the forests closed to campers due to fire danger this rain was a big blessing. It may not have felt that way as I spent the majority of Saturday pushing up on my tent canopy to remove puddled water! My sincerest apologies to the lady I almost drowned when I pushed out the biggest puddle my tent roof connected and she was suddenly directly underneath a direct pour of no less than 5 gallons right on top of her head! So so sorry 😐. Ok now the good stuff! It was so awesomely cool! There were beautiful mountains and pine trees and Elk ... all this and the people of Strawberry Pine AZ are so awesome. Every person that came by to say hello or look at my crystals, were every bit as welcoming and pleasant as the cool weather. Just under 2 hour drive from Mesa AZ. The drive up was incredibly scenic and relaxing getting out of the heat... but the vistas on the return trip were worth every penny I spent on gas which by the way was cheaper in the mountains than Phoenix gas stations by as much as .20 less a gallon. A special shout out to Gail who is one of the Event Organizers up in Pine /Strawberry. Thank you to Peter and others from All Aboard America bus tours for stopping at the Strawberry Festival with 2 tour buses on Saturday. Great time, necessary rain, cool temps, family friendly, wonderful little community hidden in the cool pines! I’ll be back soon!

I'm sure it's a great museum, but it was closed! Every place I looked online showed that they were open 10am-2pm, Wed. - Sun. However, when we arrived at the museum, the sign showed very different hours. Too bad - we really wanted to see it, and we're just visiting from Phoenix for a few days. It would be nice if somebody could update the hours showing up online.

The museum was closed, but we had such a great time at the market, the book sale, and the playground.

It's a small museum, but the people who work there are those who give it that magical touch of making you feel right at home. When you come in, the guy at the front desk tells you about the history of the area and also shares some tips for exploring the area. The overview provided helps you better understand the exhibits in the the museum. There's a few rooms to walk through, each with detailed historical artifacts, displays, antiques, and things to read through. I spent a little over an hour there. On your way out, make sure to check out the postcards; they are a nice affordable souvenir. Note: The only downside was parking seemed limited with only about 5 spots next to the museum. However, you can park...
