This is an unfortunate but necessary review... An absolutely despicable woman who claimed to be the owner of the store now has the honor of the being the nastiest person I have EVER encountered behind the counter of at an antique store. As a serious and frequent antique buyer, I was appalled at the "customer service"...and the place had SOOO much potential. My family and I had been shopping at a half dozen vintage and antique stores during the day, and in no other store in the ENTIRE AREA did my family have any issues. Bottom line: I would highly recommend steering clear of this store. Buyer beware.
What happened: As soon as my children entered the store, she snapped at them... (i was outside looking at items). When I went into the store, she actively sought out oppotunities to snap at my children. We were all there to shop, and had almost 100$ worth of things picked out. When I found out what happened, by then she had snapped at my kids for the THIRD time. They were very uncomfortable to be there because of the way they were treated. And I had a REAL problem with that, I had words with her. No child should EVER be treated the way this woman felt she was entitled to treat my children. I don't care if it was a store, a library, or a restaurant... We were VERY happy to take our business elsewhere. Too bad too. A word of advice to that lady with the attitude: don't EVER talk like that to children....EVER.
talk to...
Read moreThis store is filled to the brim with products and antiques, however the day we were there and looking at silver jewelry, 2 sterling silver and turquoise bracelets we asked the lady behind the check out counter for pricing, We were told " that section is closed, he'll be here tomorrow". I'm thinking your business will not stay open long if you can't help your customers. Her attitude helped us make the decision not to purchase anything from this store. I loved the town of Pine, but this older lady needs to go home and take a nap, be less grumpy. There is another antique store down around the corner, which has...
Read moreThe staff here are so rude and unwelcoming. I was hoping it was an off day for them. But after going through the reviews it seems this lady has a massive tree up somewhere it shouldn’t be. I hope she has a great day and turn around in perspective. A huge heap of items. All of them are vastly over priced (empty plastic tiny shooter bottles for $5 is ludicrous. They’re modern too!). Planter pot was labeled for $5 and she yelled at me and my family for wanting to buy it at the price marked. Truly a terrible experience. I love antique stores go to ANY one except this. Bad place terrible vibes and...
