I tend to be a little tight when buying furniture. I was in the Phoenix area last fall for business and just happened to drive by Skys in Pine. I was intrigued by their carvings that they displayed outside. But then I went inside and saw all of their furniture. I didn't buy any furniture that day, but told them I would be back.
When I wrapped up my work in Phoenix, I called them and told them that I was headed that way. It turns out that they were having heavy snow and had sent everyone home so they wouldn't be driving in the snow. I loved the fact that they watch out for their employees. I told them that I was leaving town and would definitely be buying something if they could have someone there. The graciously agreed to let Star meet me at the store so I could buy some of their furniture.
Everything was so beautiful that I had a tough time deciding on what to buy. I Facetimed with my wife so we could narrow it down. I ended up spending over $3000 which is something I never thought that I would spend on tables and furniture.
Every day that I look at the furniture I smile and am happy with it. The furniture is beautiful and very well made. I told my wife that if I ever get back to Phoenix, I will be coming home...
