There were a couple pieces of furniture I was going to buy but did not after the woman behind the counter was extremely rude. My daughter does not put things in her mouth. She was looking at the toys & the cashier badgered her & her grandmother saying āSheās not putting that in her mouth is she?! Iāve had it up to here with kids!ā She has a sign by the childrenās area that strongly says this. We saw the sign⦠I worked in retail/customer service all my life, I understand the frustration but you donāt need to make people feel unwelcome. Hereās an idea: If you donāt like children, DONāT SELL TOYS. As we were leaving my daughter started crying over a toy because I decided I wasnāt giving this store my business. I apologized to the woman about my daughter getting upset & she rolled her eyes. So the owner has every right ask that question or ask you to take your child outside if they are making a disturbance. This is not Walmart or Costco. It a small business that is very much appreciated here in...

Its packed with 'treasures' on two levels, inside and outside. We walked through the store and admired several things, and took our time as we were the only ones there at the time. There was one item I thought seriously about. We all agreed it was overpriced. So we approached the owner and asked if she would reduce the price, in order to make a sale. The answer was a firm no, since she felt she had no need to do this. We left shortly after that and have...
