Nice little spray ground and park with a fairly good variety of play equipment and options (in addition to the spray ground on the left side of the entrance, there’s also a large sand pit/play area, a couple swing sets, several other smallish but adequate climbing structures, open grass spaces, covered picnic table area, and other elements I can’t quite remember at the moment. None of these are particularly amazing or updated like the fancy new stuff at many other playgrounds in the area, but all work perfectly well for kids (and parents) looking for a place to simply run and play.

The area is fenced and gated (with a relatively child proof or at least child resistant locking mechanism) which I like a lot and wish all parks offered. I did not walk all the around to the back of the grassy area on the other side of the picnic structure to check to see if the fence went all the way around the entire park though, so I can’t speak to the full “security” of the park overall, but it definitely seems securely fenced on the street side where all or most of the actual playground equipment is located, and I was able to watch my three kids play in different areas on either side fairly easily from my vantage point at the central picnic structure.

It’s not my kids’ first choice of park in the area, given so many other nearby options like Quincy, Oak Grove, Woodstock, Woodlawn, Mosaic Park, Madison Manor and others, but it’s a perfectly nice neighborhood park with a number of enticing elements like the spray ground. Great for birthday...

Beautiful park located in nice quite neighborhood, across from an Elementary school, so can be very crowded when school lets out. Great for the kiddos! 2 lighted Tennis (and pickle ball) courts and 1 basketball court for the adults- sand pit, swing set and plenty of play structures, as well as plenty of trees and open field space for the kids to play and run around. Dogs are welcome but everyone is very respectful and responsible for clean up of their pets. Never any poop or waste but bring your own poop bags as none are provided here. There is also a shaded picnic area to host small bday parties or just to sit and have lunch, with attached restrooms for both boys and girls. The highlight of the park is the water/splash area that is solar system themed with cool planets that are spaced out and labeled. Very Cool park and would recommend if your...

The splash zone is fun but be careful near the the play structures. There is currently a wasp nest in the play structure, I reported it to maintenance. Will change this review next time if I ever go there again and see if it's fixed.

There are sand wasps but apparently they don't sting

A poor girl got stung by the wasp right next to us, huge bump and cried all the way to the car, crazy!

See picture below, there's a screw missing and ~4 wasps...
