Aldi's is a great place to shop for food if you're on a tight budget. If you find they don't carry everything you need you can still save a bunch of money getting pantry staples like sugar, flour, canned goods, bottled water, storage bags, and laundry items. You'll never find lower prices for cheeses, lunch meats or frozen pizza. Don't hesitate to try unfamiliar brands/labels; just as good as the well known brands. My favorites include jarred pickled beets, Mamma Cossis's Pizza, both off brand ice cream choices, and the merchandise aisle which changes weekly. You can get in and out of Aldi's quickly because it's a normal size grocery store that's never packed with shoppers.
