Actually, I need to explain: I don't hate the furniture... it's high quality, real leather and nice looking. But...
I bought a "Comfort Design" brand recliner with an electric reclining feature. The buttons to recline or return to upright position are on the inside of the right arm and can be pushed by accident by your leg or hip. When my 2 granddaughters were sitting in the chair, the smaller one crawled out and was navigating her way to the ground via the extended foot rest. Suddenly, and without knowing it, the older girl's leg contacted the button and the chair started to fold back to upright. The smaller girl's arm got caught and she screamed but the other girl didn't realize what was happening. Fortunately, my wife heard and was able to resolve the situation.
When I mentioned to Comfort design my concern that the buttons should have a safety cover or something this was their reply: "We have no reason to think this product is dangerous or defective. All motion furniture, including recliners, reclining sofas and loveseats, sleep sofas, lift-top tables, etc., has many moving parts. Caution must be used in operation (reclining, opening, closing, etc.). Children should be supervised. Comfort Design's Limited Warranty expresses a note on Caution within it. A Caution label is also adhered to the motion mechanism. If you do not have a copy of our Limited Warranty please let us know and we will send a copy to you."

Now I ask you, what kind of response is that? These folks will hear from me if I EVER hear of anyone being injured in one of these chairs due to their unwillingness to add a simple, safety device to keep the buttons from accidentally being pushed.

Read moreI purchased two recliner chairs. Within 10 months the material began to fade and tare on the arms. The cushions lost their support. I contacted Klaussner and they sent a repair guy out. He took pictures and agreed that the chairs were defective but all he could do was to send his report into the company. For weeks my calls were not returned to find results. A few months later I received a piece of material to replace one arm. I was told the repairman would return to install. He came to install it. He placed the new material on the arm. It looked awful. One new piece of material to the rest of the chair that had faded. You can only imagine how ugly it looked. I contacted the Klaussner Rep again to ask them to reconsider the complaint and replace all the material or the entire chair. She advised there was no way they could do that and would only replace one-off arm. I thought purchasing "made in the USA meant something. I guess I was wrong. I will never purchase a Klaussner product again. Be careful when you think of them for ...
Read moreWe purchased the Domino set; the sofa and recliner in July of 2019. Everything was beautiful and we were very happy up until about six months into ownership when the material was starting to bunch at the foot of the recliner of the sofa. Now we have to open it and close it again, in order for the material to lay properly on the sofa. So disappointing! And then a little while after that we started hearing noises underneath the sofa in regards to the mechanics of it as we would sit down and get up. And we have not even own this set for a year yet. Sighhh, we are very sad this great looking set is slowly falling apart on us. 😔 We will not be recommending your furniture unless you make...
