Salon Posh — Attraction in Athens

I really hate to do this. And wondered for months if I even should. But I can’t avoid it anymore. I came here in January and wanted to be platinum. My hair had been dyed improperly and I wanted a correction. I had been informed (by 2 other salons) doing this would involve some damage so I had avoided it. I was told by this salon they could do it and with minimal damage. I stressed this EXTREMELY that I wanted the least amount of damage possible. I had thick long healthy hair.

They left bleach on the back of my head for 8 hours. 8 hours. When I raised a bit of concern they assured me it was a low volume and not to worry.

My hair started falling out at washing. The girl even said “I hope you don’t think I did this on purpose” when I raised concern over the loss. She told me if I was still “tripping” when I got home I could message her for a treatment. Considering my hair was a mess I did that. No response. I wish so bad I could go back to before I went to this salon. The last photo is a before.

I’m not saying every girl here is this way and I don’t want to hurt the girl who did this to me. I’m just honestly pretty...

I absolutely love Salon Posh! My first time was right before I gave birth, and I wanted to feel pretty during the process/postpartum & Michelle did just that! My husband needed a major haircut a few weeks later, and she also did an amazing job on his super thick hair! I just went again yesterday for a significant change, and Michelle just absolutely blew me away again! A week or two before I called and asked if they put feathers into hair & the owner ordered some into the salon immediately for me. Michelle was so personal, kind & welcoming with me. She also made sure to be on the exact same page as me as to what I wanted to do with my hair, offered snacks & drinks, and showed hospitality!! I will continue to keep coming back to Salon Posh & keep coming to Michelle! All the stylists at the salon have wonderful talents and do an outstanding job, and the owner is so involved, kind & is always booked with appointments! I couldn’t say enough positive things about Salon Posh. I have never walked out of those doors unhappy. Andrea is an amazing hairstylist. She’s the only one I trust with my hair. Since I started going to her, I have gotten compliments on my hair almost daily. Kayley, one of the estheticians, does my spray tans. She has always made the experience enjoyable and as comfortable as possible. I always feel extra pretty after getting sprayed by her. The tan she uses is super natural, which was very important to me given how fair my skin is. It goes on evenly and is long-wearing. Allison has always seemed to me like an awesome boss to work for. There have been numerous occasions I have seen her go out of her way to help a stylist even when she is busy with her own thing. You can tell all of the stylists not only look up to her, but also enjoy working for her. 10/10...
