Speechless!!! Ordered the Texan Fajita, when waiter arrived he had a plate with rice, fried beans lots of lettuce with a penny size dab of sourcream & a teaspoon of pico de gallo accompanying the entire!! OK!!! When I asked this is really small to begin with but could I have some more pico de gallo ...so he immediately went into you can order a side of each, HUUUUH??? Oooh wooow no waaaay Josè but YESSSSSS thts their PLAY for you to PAAAAAY!!!! Had a half of pitcher of a Mexican Lager which he stated it's $5.80 plus the Fajitas $14.80 ...when my bill arrived it read $26.66!!!! They charged for 3 extra corn tortillas, extra onions, pepper even though he never said anything about it plus the half pitcher turned into $7.20!!!! These are very bad and fallible business practices tht should never become a norm especially we in 2018!!!! You can tell THEY are here to "MILK" their Customer Base to the FULLEST and just steady laugh behind their backs!!!! Hope this review finds even the most dedicated Mexican - Foodie so you be all aware of their sneaky TRICKERY & truly "Trojan Fare"!!!! Used to come here a few years back many times, then referred many many ppl to this Establishment, regretting it now, cause it ALL must've went to their heads!!!! Wake-up call should be creeping up eventually!!!! "Tacos & Tequila" right up down the street, which is consistent and customer service oriented without charging additional hidden prices!!!! Smh this is by far one of the worst experiences in Mexican Dining...
Read moreTaxco has always been our go-to casual Mexican spot on Roswell Road for years now. Our experience last weekend has changed our views completely.
First, they got our son’s order wrong, not once, but FOUR times! Both of our other entrees came out cold, not even lukewarm. After sending our meals back, we watched them place the entrees in a microwave and given back to us lukewarm with wilted lettuce, soggy diced tomatoes, and browned guacamole. When we sent it back again, requesting them to remake the meals, they simply put our plates under the broiler and returned to us dried out, crunchy, and overcooked. Finally, the fourth meal we received was freshly made. Our son's situation was equally as comical with continued incorrect orders and cold food.
Throughout this ordeal we asked to speak to the manager on many occasions and were simply told that he was too busy to speak to us. I am not typically one to complain about quality and service, but this was utterly ridiculous. I have never heard of a manager being too busy to speak with a customer, especially when we have been regular visitors for years and only asking for a freshly made meal not just pulled out of the refrigerator or reheated to the point of disgust.
We are saddened that a once favorite of ours has gone so far downhill. In the words of my 6-year-old son, “we should have gone...
Read moreJust went to this restaurant. We are all regulars and eat here 2-4 times per month. Went to the restroom before I sat down and 2 kitchen workers were in the restroom. One of them was going #2 and the other #1. They both finished before me and turned on the water for 1 second each and didn’t use soap or paper towels - then shut off the water and walked out. No soap. No towels. And these are their kitchen employees.
I’m not sure I can come back. Again, we loved this place and have a regular crew that comes a few times a month, but after witnessing this - we are revolted. Their kitchen staff doesn’t wash their hands after using the restroom. I literally witnessed this first hand and they didn’t even pretend that they were being sanitary in front of me.
Be aware that Tacos & Tequilla on Roswell Road’s kitchen staff does not wash their hands after going to the restroom! We told our waiter what happened and he laughed and joked about it. His response was, “well what are you gonna do - it’s fine?”
Something has changed here since a month or two ago. Server was flippant and rude and argued about bringing us water etc. Just bad all the way around.
This is insane. We won’t be back and hope others at least know what is happening here - particularly from a sanitary...
