Good afternoon! This weekend, 09.14.2024 I came to the concert of my favorite band "Keane", bought the ticket to my birthday, it was my birthday gift to me. On the enterence 4 girls were sitting on the bench, do nothing and in one voice asked me to check my back, for attention of administration. Checked the price every day, as really want to have a good time. So, I came around 9.00 p.m., according my ticket all the places were busy, and I decided to go to steps, as I can saw the stage, injoyed 2 songs and one of Afro-american guy (I don't know who it was, I think security) and told me that I can not stand on the steps, I asked him where I should stand according to my ticket (I was the 1st time for in this location). He said everywhere, I asked him for help to find me the place according my ticket and started to download the map on my phone, it was bad connection of internet. The guy just left me and the girls with long black hair ( white girl, no name) came and told me: "I will throw you down from steps with the help of security". I said: "what, I want my money back and I want to talk to your manager". I went out with the girl and she said you can take your money back there and showed me the cashier. I asked her manager (afro-american) guy what is going on and why his employer talked to me like that. He told me he heard another story and the girl did her job. I explained that I asked for help to find me the place, his answer was, the customer support did it. Ok, if customer support doing that, why nobody told me and help me with that guys??? I asked him to give the girls' name and I want to leave the rewire or talked with administration of the building. Nobody wanted to give me her name, she didn't say me her name as well. I asked the manager to talk to his manager, maybe he could help me to understand what is going on. The big afro-american guy came ( I just described the people as no one of them did give me their names), he was polite and explain that is the law that I can not stand on the steps, I said ok I can get it, but why no one before told me about that and why this girl was so rude? I was in 25 countries before and no one was so unpolite, rude, horrible with me. I have my Team as well, I am the manager and explained to the managers that the person like this unprofessional girl can not work with people and they need to fire her. I mentioned that I am one of the leader of Ukrainian community and I will share all this information with my community as well l. The manager of the manager (manager 2) said we would talk with her... The manager number 1 who was talked with me the first started to ague with me and asked where I wor to make the rewire about me. I gave him my organization name and one more time asked the girls' name, he told "No". After I wanted to take my money back from the casher, the answer was that there boss need to approve it. In 5 minutes white man smells alcohol came and told he is the manager of the building (one more time, no one of them did give me their names), and told me they can not give me the money back as I bought the ticket from there partners... I said ok, what I should do, contact already ending, you spoiled my evening guys and I can not even my money back, he advised me to call to my bank and cancel the transaction. I asked him to give me the girls' name, he didn't do that as well and she just did her job. I asked is it really to make the job " I will throw out you from the steps with the help of security"????? He said if she really told this, I said "YES". Excuse me is it really normal situation, I bought the ticket (the administration has there salary from my payment). I spent my money for Uber to come, I spoiled my birthday present, didn't attend the concert, the security spoiled my mood!!! No one gave me the information how I can contact the administration if the building... If it's normal to have such security employees guys in your Team? Hopefully you have instructions how to communicate with customers! Please contact me back to solve all this issues!...

Eh. It was overall kind of nice but the so called "seating" was simply cement slab.

I'm thinking venues just no longer want us "old farts" attending their shows! Not everyone can comfortably stand for an entire show, especially one with multiple bands. And that's if they can do so at all!

And btw, it's not even always an age thing, there's plenty of folks in their 20s and 30s who have to skip shows due to the standing room only clause!

Don't get me wrong here, I'm glad there was some form of seating here as many places have NONE. But it just could be so much better!

I also want to mention, I bought two show tickets so as to increase chances of finding seating. One ticket was GA, one ticket was Mezzanine. Once I was scanned to enter, there were zero restrictions on where I was able to go. So I'd have been fine with just the much cheaper GA ticket. The Mezzanine ticket was twice the price and did not matter a bit so if you are thinking about doing similar, dont! They check nothing once you are inside!

Overall just kind of not impressed with this venue - Oh one more thing: I Did not get ANY food or drinks during show because it all seemed VERY far to go and risked losing my spot on the concrete slab. Would not be a bad thing to have some kind of wait staff!

And seriously ppl, don't take this review as someone way past their prime trying to see shows they shouldnt! I go to shows all over the southeast. I spend money at almost all of them. I participate. I am not even that old. Not all of us are fully physically capable and should not be barred from shows because of lighter levels of disability!

I mean okay if someone is at a point of needing wheelchair etc then there's often good accommodations but for those of us in that "grey area", please remember, we like our music too AND we...

Last night was my first time at the venue I went to see Clipse. I was really looking forward to the show but when I got there, I realized I probably should’ve gotten there an hour earlier. I had a general admission ticket but wasn’t able to get downstairs to the open floor area so I was stuck on the middle level and I had some big, milk dud head guy in front of me the whole night. He kept throwing his arms and hands up so I really wasn’t able to see the stage unobstructed. Also, the website suggested parking at a deck that was like three blocks away from the venue, which of course we didn’t find out until we got there. The staff that I interacted with was nice but I really think that they should’ve had them at a bigger venue. It was a sold out show with the capacity of 2300. I probably need to go back before I give my final opinion on this venue because I read that they have this really great rooftop area and I didn’t get to make it to the The bathroom that I used was surprisingly clean after the concert and they actually had somebody that was in there that was emptying the trash when I got there so that’s a good sign. Unfortunately, the bathroom stalls don’t have hooks on the doors and The doors are really high, so forget about trying to lay your merch over them while you use the bathroom.. If you If you have over 40 year-old knees like me and you actually want to see the stage, I suggest getting mezzanine seating. Clipse had a really great visual component to their show, and I wasn’t able to fully enjoy it because my view was blocked. The sound was excellent, and they of course, did an...

** not the best venue for a kid's show ** For adults, this place would be great! For kids, not so much. This in an interesting venue that was mostly standing room. It was clean, and the sound was really good during the show. The staff was very nice throughout our experience and welcoming for ADA seating. However, this was not a great venue for a kid's show. A majority of the parents were standing, some with a child on their shoulders, making it near to impossible to see the show because we were all forced to stand on the floor in front of the stage. In venues with seats, the adults will sit in the seats, and the kids stand in the rows so they all can see. But, not the case at The Eastern. The venue was also not allowing people onto the second level, and the ADA seating was terribly located to the side of the stage with a hill of speakers or something blocking the view. The website says to call the venue about ADA seating, but there is no working phone number to be found. I ended up sending a message through Facebook to communicate our needs. I give The Eastern 3 stars because of the nice area it was in, easy parking in the garage, and the staff was nice, but not very accommodating for children to fully enjoy a show. Note for the picture - I was holding my phone the highest I could. Imagine if you were a much shorter child in this sea of adults.
