Small Fry — Restaurant in Atlanta

My wife and I went to a concert at the Eastern, which is stone's throw from Small Fry the other night. We were so glad we got there early because this small spot is amazing and we both were super stoked with the visit. We each had a drink and split a wedge salad and a fishcake and shoestring fries. The drink was outstanding, The service at the bar where you eat, and the kitchen was top notch, efficient and damn strong! Everything we consumed was just out of this world good. Drinks were solid pours, the staff was friendly, and we had an awesome time there. The portions on drinks and food were also very good. Nothing bad to say at all as long as you understand it is small and tends to get crowded. We are heading back there asap even if not for a concert next time. Thanks y'all and keep up the...

Don’t forget to ORDER SAUCE.

Ordered the vodka parm chicken sandwich and calamari app. The chicken on the sandwich was really good, a lot of pesto actually, felt more like a pesto sandwich not that I’m complaining. The shrimp in the fritto misto was my favorite bite, the calamari itself could have had more crisp.

My main complaint was the calamari came with no sauce and you have to order and pay for all the sauces separately so I think the server should have let me know about that. Overall this is kind of a greasy food, pre or post concert at the Eastern spot, wouldn’t make a destination of it but wouldn’t mind having it again. And would definitely prioritize eating there to get the fresh fry experience. Only beer in cans for now but I’m sure they’ll fire up...

Really nice to have a casual food spot in Atlanta Dairies, it’s unfortunate how every restaurant/coffee shop has closed down over the last few years there. Hoping Small Fry lasts, this area needs this. Friendly staff, super quick service, food was good, we got a couple of different chicken sandwiches and nuggies.

It’s a small space, limited seating and is really just bar space. Totally fine, bar seating is easy or taking it out on the lawn is good for nice days. Good selection of beverages. Kind of hard to find but follow the signs, it’s on the same level that Wonderkid was on but all the way down to the right as far as you can go (near Three Taverns but on a level above).

And true to the name, their fries are very small...
