Classic Boat Rides — Attraction in Atlantic Highlands

My wife and I have been on "Anchor Jam" cruises and a private cruise on The Jenny Girl. All have been exceptional. The vessels are clean, well staffed, comfortable, and a great value. We have had 3 different captains (including Capt. Dan, who is the owner). Every Captain made sure the trips were smooth and safe. Anchor Jams have great live music that you can enjoy anywhere on board thanks to the boat's PA system and video feed to monitors on the lower deck under the band. The beverages are very reasonable and it's great being able to bring a light meal. We just treated ourselves and took a private cruise on the Jenny Girl. What a comfortable boat. Conveniently docked at The Molly Pitcher Inn. You can even get a pool guest pass at The Inn if you take the cruise! Capt. Lou made sure the ride was smooth by cutting the wakes of other boats and pointing out some of the houses on the river owned by many notable people. What a trip! We chose to celebrate mom's 80th birthday on the River Queen. It was a nice evening weather wise. Capt Dan had a great set up along with the music & food. They were both very good & satisfying. The bonus was the fireworks in the end. It was a nice crowd & everyone was having an equally great time. Singing & dancing was fun for all.
