Let me start by saying that we had a fairly good time. It wasn't what I expected but the kids were happy and that's the main thing. Let me explain... The location of the place was not in an easily accessible location. It was off a main road and tucked into what seemed like an industrial mall? It was just awkward. Thank goodness for Google maps. Once we got inside, we were greeted by a somewhat friendly person. They took us to a completely empty room with a crooked tv on the wall for a rule video. Kind of silly and unnecessary if you ask me. Just tell people to take their shoes off and play safely, done. We were the only ones there, so this made it quick to get in and out of the bounce houses but it also felt like we were in a ghost town. The first room had several big bounce houses that were fairly big but seemed to have lots of rips and tears. Combine that with the fact they were dirty (old Band-Aids and dirt) and it seemed like the place isn't being taken care of. The kids liked the bounce houses but they were difficult to climb. I went on a couple with the kids and I had a tough time. I would say that it's best for kids over 2-3 years old. They had a little kids area that was for very small kids but it looked like an afterthought with deflated balls and not much to play with. The second room you go in had more of the same. It had a climbing wall but looked like it was missing some squares to climb it? The bounce basketball court was cool but had a lot of holes in it so it was losing air. As we were getting ready to leave, there was no place to sit to put shoes on, which is odd. They had massage chairs but they beeped if you sat in them and didn't pay. There were a few other games to play but everything besides the bounce house stuff cost money, and to me that's sort of a put off. We didn't have a party there so I can't speak to the quality of the food. All in all it was just an ok to good experience. I wasn't super happy or blown away by anything. The kids had fun so that's what counts. It's a good option to let kids have fun indoors when it's cold outside. I'm not entirely sure we will go back but it was a good one time experience for us anyway. There are plenty of things this place could do to make it better. Hopefully this helps!

We went there for the toddler play hour and our daughter had a blast. The lady was nice that was running the place. They had lots of toys and even a toddler slide in the toddler area that my daughter loved. The bathroom didn’t seem as clean but everything else was clean and a lot of fun! My only complaint is that there are no outlet covers on any of the outlets in the toddler area which is concerning. I don’t like that. So please watch the little ones.

We have had two birthday parties at the Pump It Up in Auburn Hills and I have nothing but great things to say! The staff was welcoming, friendly and kept our party going. Everyone we came into contact with was knowledgeable and professional. Our party girl had a great time and so did all of the guests! We definitely are recommending this for a party spot for kids!

First things first - the place is fun. There. That's out of the way. Here's what's NOT fun:

  1. I was taking my 6 year old son, my nephew, my girlfriend and her 3 kids to celebrate my son turning 6. We reserved spots online for seven people. It's VERY vague on what's needed. It simply says "add jumper". My girlfriend and I both planned on jumping with the kids, so, we added our names to the list. It asks for a name & a birthday. We arrived about 20 minutes early (we had a 5:40 reservation) and were told that things were behind and we wouldn't even get to jump until closer to 6PM.. That's ok - I get it.
  2. I was told that "adults are included and don't actually have to pay". The problem here is that I added both myself and my girlfriend (both adults) to the jumpers list... and we got charged. The problem here is.. why does the website ask specifically for a "birthday" and when I input both of our birthdays (obviously both over the age of 18) did we THEN get charged if adults are free? When I asked the manager what could be done about it.. I was told.. "there's nothing we can do about that unfortunately..." (I guess they've never heard of voiding a sale and re-doing it there at the point of sale?) So..essentially I just gave this company $22 for free.
  3. When we arrived I hung my sons coat on the only available coat rack which was right next to the registers. When we left - his coat was missing. They had zero idea where it went.
  4. I was unable to bring in my sons birthday cake that I purchased for him to enjoy with the rest of the family. Ok - fine - just.. maybe put that on the website so that I don't have a cake needing to be refrigerated sitting out in my car going to waste.
  5. Pizza is included in the price of admission. I was told that each child gets "2 slices of pizza and a drink." Awesome! After we get done bouncing and playing, the pizza is handed out. I get told that, "unfortunately we didn't have enough pizza to give every kid 2 slices." What? So..you're telling me that we've already OVERPAID for TWO EXTRA people who weren't supposed to have even been included in the pizza numbers.. and then, on top of overpaying you're short on the amount of food that we're supposed to be getting? This is unacceptable. In the end - it was the most unprofessionally run business that I've been into in a very long time. I was given free passes for the "inconvenience", and, to be honest - I highly doubt that I would go back. It's almost 90 minutes out of the way for me and we went to make memories. Unfortunately for "Pump It Up", we did make memories... they just...

I would give ZERO If I could ! Very unfriendly, rude staff! Unprofessional they charge me extra for 5 mins or so bc the attendant came to one of us ! (Which wasn’t me) bc I was the host as d ask to leave the arena times up! No one talked to me ( the host), when I asked what is that extra charge they said yeah the attendant came and no one listened to him and we guys being late for a few mins!!! I was shocked bc no one came to me and tell me that we need to change our room! Their excuse was yeah It was busy and didn’t know who was the host!!! Ok I understand could now then take care of this charge since I’m the host and no one came to me! No, we’re sorry bc the General Manager Kelly, charged me and run home!!! Ok then would you guys take care of it no we are sorry we don’t have that authority! Called Kelly no I can’t do anything about it without offering anything or showed any professional costumer services! All the staff were rude I did added one of the kid’s experience like a bubbles should be a surprise for my daughter! Where is the bubbles that I did add for the package? Oh sorry we are out of bubbles ok why you didn’t call me so I know ( bc they do have a glow in the dark experience) so I would’ve add the other package yeah sorry we forgot!! Like SERIOUSLY !!! Worse place ever all my friends and family will never be...
