had fun at Dalton Palmer Memorial Playground in Augusta that claims to be the tallest in Kansas at 30 feet high. the land was donated by the family of Dalton Palmer, a 13 year old who died in an ATV accident in 2014 #playground #kansas #augustakansas #daltonpalmer #park #play #kids #activity #free #tallest #wichita

Update: Removing a star. The zipper swing is in really bad need of repair after it was vandalized. Still a good place to stop with an ice cream shop nearby. Original: Uhm. If you work for a parks and rec department please go here to learn how to make parks fun again. My son loved this place. Stopped here on our way to Colorado. Includes a little park bench area for picnics. Sno cone vendor across the street for after dinner. There's a swing rollercoaster. Wish it would go farther, still was fun. If you're an adult, don't be afraid to join your kid up to the top!

Very cool seen while driving by had to stop lots of room and very safe. Never seen a playground quite like this. Cool little zip line thing for kids not over crowded soft impact play zone. Easy to find right on the Main Street the slide is rather big and the walkway across is huge definitely big enough for adults to maneuver if necessary

Very spacious and entertaining park. A variety of fun is provided along with lovely local store fronts nearby. The atmosphere was excited and very child friendly. Many amusing ways to ascend high above the ground (safely) along with three slides gave a unique and beautiful experience of fun. The ground was plush and welcoming to any fall. All of the equibment (except the slides) were see through, making it ideal for a parent to be able to liesurely watch their child. There was a one of a kind swing that combined a zipline with a swing that combined the classic joys of swinging with the views of zipplining. It appeared to be an enjoyable and distinctive time. Regrettably I was robbed of this once in a lifetime experience by some prepubescent plebian leaving me feel used and hopeless. Hopefully, a new swingline (as I fondly have nicknamed it) will be...

Don't stop here anymore. Parents are not showing up with their kids. Tired of seeing their children bully others. Including those that come from other towns to play there. Witnessed a kid trying to cut on the parklet and Mark all over it while his care giver did nothing about it. Even with other witnesses. The kid still got away with it. Not to mention the amount of trash just being left around the property and inside the Parklet by both parents and children is a bit much. No parent should have to be required to pick up after other ungrateful families before their own family can enjoy an area is not and never will be ok. Letting kids be kids with out vandalizing a property is how it is supposed to be. Time to teach your children how to treat other...
