My family of 4 came in yesterday at 1pm for lunch. Having never been in before we had no prior opinions but we're excited to try something new. We ordered a medium pizza, a sandwich, kids mini corn dogs, a 1/2lb of wings, a couple of waters and soft drinks. Nothing crazy.
While we waited we decided to play some Keno to kill some time. After 30 minutes, our server came over and told us it would be any minute. No big deal, we weren't in the biggest rush.
Another 15 minutes go by and our drinks are empty and we have to walk to the bar to get refills where we find our server texting behind the bar. She seemed to be magnetized back there to her phone.
Now we are to an hour. Still no food. We ask another server if our food is almost out, she says "It's just being plated now. 5 more minutes."
We wait another 8 minutes. Still no food. They finally bring out my daughter's fries and they are floppy and completely raw/cold im the middle. Another 10 minutes and still no other food. It's now 2:21.
We hated doing this but we were starving and getting NO service. We finally had to stand up and walk out. As we are leaving our server says "Are you really going to walk out?"
Ma'am, I have never received such horrible service. We have been here for 1.5 hours waiting on food and have only received half frozen fries. What do you want us to do?
We were so hungry we ended up going to Casey's and grabbing a pizza where the lady working told us this is unfortunately a regular occurrence at this establishment and just avoids it altogether.
I understand things happen, we own a restaurant/catering business. The lack of communication, service, laziness and bad attitude was truly disappointing. I hate giving bad reviews but whoever owns this business needs to know what is going on in order to make necessary changes to better their customer's experience and...
Read moreNice little family late lunch today with the Son and grandbabies. We normally go to Sugar Shane's but they were closed so I called to see if children were allowed (at one point I think they might not have been). Nice clean place, plenty of bar customers but they were all very polite and kind and quiet. Nice dining area up front. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Curbside parking helps (I'm currently temporarily handicapped and on crutches). I ordered the Chicken, Bacon Ranch sandwich and tater tots to share with the babies. Kids got a house salad with Turkey and a kid's Pepperoni Pizza. Both disappeared pretty quickly! My Son ordered a club (which his daughter was coveting) and Onion Straws (which he loved despite being anti onion his entire life). He thinks the ranch dressing is homemade (don't know but it was good). He also got a calzone to take home and I can't really comment on that as I didn't try any; but judging NY how quickly my grandson devoured his 8 inch pizza I'll bet it is probably pretty tasty. Kids were very happy that there were tvs everywhere (they are in the process of moving so I think they are jonesing a tad) Very nice, clean, solid local joint that IS kid friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to return. And thanks; Lexi, for the...
Read morePeople either love it or hate it, and those that hate it are probably the kind that are wanting VIP Bottle service with a velvet rope. At Bricks you can get bottle service but it's long neck Budweisers in a bucket of 5 for $10. Hell Yeah! If you are a non smoker or have difficulty being around smokers you might not like this place, and you can keep your complaints over in the other 99% of the bars I can't smoke in. I would post some of the pictures that I have from this place, but then it just becomes self incriminating, and we're not having that. Swing down to Bricks throw back a few wobbly pops talk to the natives and have a good damn time. Well worth it. And you can play unedited 2 LiveCrew on the jukebox! Having TouchTones on your cell phone, it's hysterical when it jumps from Cash or Jones to...
