Wow! So immediately I loved the name, go figure! Parked easily and walked into a little hidden gem. I totally stumbled across this shop by accident but I followed my love for chocolate and went right in! The inside is small but cute. Very clean and inviting. Many gift-able chocolates already in adorable packaging if you need to grab something sweet. I made my way to the glass display and I was amazed that I had not found this place sooner. I always visit chocolate shops when out of town. If I adore anything more than delectable gourmet chocolate, itâs a fresh crispy croissant. Which they had! My mouth is watering now. I had the feta and spinach croissant warmed. It was delicious but I wish I had asked for this to be heated just a teeny bit longer. It was a little cold inside. I was able to sample the chocolate covered orange peel I asked about and though this was my first time, it was certainly not my last! I purchased several of these and many other chocolates. They weigh them and then you pay just like most little shops. The woman was super helpful and kind. I liked her a lot and she was very helpful answering my questions and patient as I was asking for recommendations. I LOVE this place. Yes, go visit! Go buy some chocolates and donât do like I did, which was eat them all before I even got home! Thank you for such great quality and...

The store is clean and very cozy, comfortable sitting, magazines to gaze at over a cup of coffee and warm, tasty pastries (sweet and salty choices).
The chocolate, indescribable. Went once, then the next day, and then a third time. Made right on-premise, the photos demonstrate the attention to detail and craftsmanship each praline receives, and the taste is something youâll just have to experience! Youâll find plenty of choices too (I counted at least 30) of dark and milk chocolate covered treats.. some have liquor, while the rest are equally heavenly without it. (Try the golf balls if you can đ¤¤)
The customer service and overall experience: Top notch. I met 2 different ladies who were very knowledgeable of their products and were effortlessly welcoming and attentive, which made my visits quite enjoyable, every time.
Pralines these good are rare to find. Definitely a gem to be found in Augusta. Iâll drop a sixth star âď¸ because...
Read moreLa Bonbonnière is a rare gem. This isnât just chocolateâ itâs edible art. From the moment you open the box (which, by the way, is also made of chocolate), you know youâre about to experience something extraordinary. The craftsmanship is flawless, the textures are luxurious, and every single piece tastes as exquisite as it looks.
The presentation alone deserves applause: a quilted chocolate âpillowâ box filled with a stunning variety of hand-crafted Belgian chocolates, each one with its own unique flavor and design. Itâs elegant, indulgent, and clearly made with intention and pride.
The chocolate itself is silky, rich, and perfectly balanced â never overly sweet or artificial like mass-market brands. You can taste the quality ingredients and the care behind each creation.
I paired mine with wineâ a celebration in every bite. Whether youâre gifting or treating yourself, this is the kind of luxury that leaves a lasting impression.
