This location needs to clean house of every employee that they have. If it was possible, I would give 0 stars. Lazy kids who are more concerned with chatting with each other, goofing off, and playing on their phones than actually doing any kind of work that they are paid to do. Placed a mobile order to include food and ice cream and after more than 30 minutes of waiting (while others who placed their order at the counter had gotten their food and observing a girl at the window between the kitchen and counter on her phone for 30 minutes), asked an employee about the order. He stated “yeah, we see it but we haven’t started it yet,” as if that was a completely acceptable response and then walked off. When he came back through, asked him about a refund and he stated we “don’t know how to refund a mobile order” and when he was again asked if they had started making the order he replied “not yet.” He got on the phone with the manager. When he came back to the counter, he said that we could call the manager in the morning after 10:30 to talk about a refund. When asked where the manager is for his shift he stated that he was the acting manager. Asked him “do you not know how to give refunds?” or if he could make food so that we could get our order, he stated that he was unable to. Then a whole team of heated/lazy/unprofessional girls came to the counter to “handle” the situation, by not handling anything at all. When we asked for the number to get in touch with the manager, they all stated that we could find it online. Literal children with no work ethic are working at this dump of an establishment. Never did anyone give a reason as to why the order was never started, so naturally we were irritated, and one employee said multiple times “you can shut up or get out” while leaning over the counter in response to us asking why our order was not only not ready but not even started. The mobile order was placed at 8:10 , to be ready at 8:28, we left at 9:00 with no food and no refund. And while I realize that Covid is an excuse for everything these days because people aren’t working, there were at least 7 people “working” that I could see, so that’s not really a valid reason in this situation. Read moreI've visited this Dairy Queen dozens of time since moving into a neighboring subdivision. In every instance, there are teenagers running amuck behind the counter. I will say that the quality of food is decent but the customer service and respect is horrible. Last nights visit was the absolute last straw and prompted the review. I was in the drive-thru window and while handing my card to the cashier, a slim, young, Black girl with high top Converse dropped several cups. It caught my attention as well as the cashiers because she missed my hand when reaching for the card as she was looking behind her. I watched this young lady stack all the cups and place them above her head. I am unsure of what size cup they were but it was evident that whatever she dropped when into the receptacle above her, not in the trash.
When the window opened to return my card, I could see her reach above and begin making my Blizzards. I informed the cashier I'd seen her put all the cups back and without knowing which cup was on the floor I did not want any of them and that they should be disposed of. She told the young lady and she yelled "I didn't drop those cups". First of all, yelling at a grown woman and a paying customer is a huge issue. Second, "those" cups? Any dropped cup is unacceptable. I informed the cashier that I would not be taking anything from the establishment and that I was coming in to speak with a manager. I immediately parked and came inside. The employee who dropped the items was whispering in the front line cashiers ear and there was a cook peeking through the window to assumably see the aftermath. I recounted what I saw and she quietly said I'm sorry the Manager is not in but she didn't drop your cup. I asked her if she saw it and she said no. Read moreDuring the early day time the service is a little better but I have to give it an honest score because the service sucks at night when I go. I usually go around 8pm and get ice cream for me and my family, they never get my order right and when I do get food it's not fresh. One time I spent about 42 bucks and EVERTHING was nasty and old, nothing was fresh I had to turn around and come all the way back to make them cook everything fresh and bevause they never gave me a receipt they tried to act like they didn't just serve me 5 to 7 minutes prior, finally they made my order over but I had a bitter feeling about them every since. The owners should really hire better management for the night position or have one of their workers from the day work at night to keep the same service all day because I love diary queen, especially their tenders but I don't trust them much!!! Just be careful when ordering from them during the evening/night time. It's a bunch of young kids that don't really Care.. As I can see by the reviews this business is going down bad and it's because they are choosing to hire kids for cheap labor and not have to pay out what should be paid to workers. Clearly those kids that work there know that they aren't getting paid anything and is doing the job they feel they are being paid to do which is stand around and half clean. Please please please do better manager of this facility. There are lots of people that love to come to have their favorite ice cream. Start caring again because right now no one clearly cares. And if you don't want to hire better people at night, close down, you're actually losing money anyway when they come in and make people feel uncomfortable to order.
