I'd be lying if I say that I was planning to come into the store today. While waiting on my husband to get out of the car, my 3 year old son and I stopped in. I was actually heading to Nike. As I walked in, I was greeted immediately by Javon. He walked me over to the kids section and patiently assisted me while trying to make a decision on whether or not I wanted to buy. He was very friendly and outgoing. Both personable and knowledgable. He cracked a few jokes and made my son laugh. Told my family and I about his niece and how much he loved the different shoes in which Adidas carry. Assisted my husband in making choices. It was a great time. Javon has the kind of customer service that can't be taught. He's both genuine and original. I left the store happy with 1 pair of shoes for myself and my son as well as 2 shirts for myself. All thanks to Javon. Alejandro assisted me att check out. He was great as well. Very polite and asked about my shopping experience. I grade my experience an A+. Read moreOn February 26, 2024 approximately 2:30pm this evening I entered this Location Looking for a good walking Shoe I noticed entering all the Stores everyone spoke and said welcome in. except here. I noticed two Caucasian Females ( one with colored hair )in the front conversating as if they were angry so I proceeded to shop but then I heard them say Hi! welcome in! I then took notice. and proceeded to look for a shoe but also was not pleased with the service. I began to walk to the door and no one said have nice day. So I did an about face , just to pretend to check something else. and one of the young ladies crossed paths with me she almost had this Disgusting look on her face, as I made up my mind to let her go first. as I proceeded down the isle I left. Again no one said have a good day or Please come back.

I want to take a moment to recognize Takeyah at the Michigan City adidas store. Her service was absolutely phenomenal. In a time when it’s easy to feel like just another customer, she made me feel heard, valued, and supported.
Takeyah went above and beyond to help resolve a frustrating situation — not only was she patient and kind, but she also followed through in a way that restored my confidence in adidas as a brand. This wasn’t just good service; this was exceptional leadership.
In contrast to some of the poor treatment I experienced at the AURORA location from Josh and Selma (who could truly benefit from training under Takeyah’s example), her grace and professionalism stood out even more. She turned a negative into a positive and showed what true customer care looks like.
This is the kind of employee who builds lifelong loyalty and reflects the very best of the adidas brand. I sincerely hope she is publicly recognized and considered for a promotion — because she absolutely deserves it.
