Starbucks — Restaurant in Aurora Township

I was at this outlet center from out of town and was greatly enjoying my visit! I stopped into this Starbucks and saw that it was crowded, I had no problem with that and stood in line. Service at the register from AJ was overall rude. After waiting for a short time for my drink, I got half my order. I was still waiting for a water that I asked for when ordering. It was never ordered. I asked the baristas making the drinks, after two orders past mine came out, if there was still a water under my name coming. Barista, Mora rudely responded “well I don’t see it”. After she completed the drink she was making, I assumed she would get me a water. Two more orders came out and she still hadn’t made my water. She made the remark that she needed to continue making other customers drinks. Another barista came over and poured me a water without hesitation. Being a restaurant employee myself and a Business Manager, I was astonished by how rude these staff members were. I am a loyal gold member and will most likely never visit this...

The line is always long and there’s like no way to fix that apparently. I come here all the time cause I work at Home Depot. And they’re great 👍 as long as u do a mobile order. If u go through the drive through you will be there for over 10-15 mins if there’s a line. I recently went and tried ordering a strawberry açaí 🍓 with lemonade and it wasn’t letting me order it on the mobile app so I went in to order and asked if they had it before I ordered it. Cause ik sometimes they take it off if they’re running low. So I’m like waiting there for over 6 mins and I finally go up there and they ask me what my name is and then they tell me that they’re out 😒 😠 so I’m like late for work and leave and don’t even bother to get the refund. But other than that they are pretty much 3 stars ⭐️ cause there’s always a wait. But they do get the job done. They do run out of stuff pretty regularly so idk 🤷🏼‍♀️who orders the merch. This place was packed when I went with my mom. Of course, with such a small establishment, and such strict guidelines during COVID time, it was understandably stressful for everybody. Because of this, the line moved rather slow.

Nevertheless, the employees behind the counter worked extremely efficiently together and genuinely seemed like they cared about what they were doing.

I wasnt able to make out everybody's name on their nametags, but a sweet woman running the register asked how my mother was doing after noticing that her arm was in a sling and treated her with extremely warm hospitality. Tony and Mariah were working extremely efficiently behind the counter while serving up drinks.
