Shoddy Lid, Shoddy Place

The tea is okay but the teahouse lacks some quality of life details.

First off, the Ninja Milk Black Tea tastes pretty good. It is relatively light and isn't too sweet or milky. I can actually taste the tea which is really good!

Some quality of life issues with this teahouse:

When I asked for a Thai Milk Tea with no ice, I received a drink that was not filled to the brim. It felt like I was going to some sketchy restaurant where they want to cheap out on everything. I don't think Tea Ninja is being cheap in this case. However, I do think that their baristas may not be trained to give an extra 1/4 cup or so of tea to account for the missing ice. Maybe in Aurora people don't really ask for no ice in their drinks, but if McDonald's can fulfill this request, a teahouse charging $4-5 for drinks should be able to too.

Secondly and most importantly, the lid doesn't make water resistant seal with cup. Whenever I tip my cup to take a sip, tea spills out. There is no excuse for this! Don't bother with a custom printed cup and heart themed lid if a regular Dixie cup and lid does it better. How a drink business with three locations overlooked this is beyond me. I've been to milk tea places all over the country and high end teahouses do not have this problem.

I suggest lowering the price of drinks to account for the amount that...

I have no major complaints. I'm a huge boba drinker and always look for the best drinks. Overall the tea is really good. It is on the sweeter side. I would ask for little sugar next time. But for most people, they'd probably like it the way it is. It is worth getting if you are shopping at the outlet mall. I got exactly what I asked for which I'm happy with. I got the Brown Sugar Milk tea, Passion fruit, and Dragon fruit all with Bobas with little ice. I'd recommend all drinks. I give it a 4 because it does not top Vannies or Umbrella Tea. However, I would come here again if I'm shopping. Lastly, it might be good to put a bell in the front to let you know customers are in the store. The girls were in the back working and didn't realize I walked...

It’s a bit overwhelming coming here. I wasn’t ready for there to be a whole questionnaire and the place is noisy so I couldn’t really understand what I was being asked. Even when I said to give whatever they recommend, they still asked more questions. Fortunately, they have a self-serve kiosk so I’ll be using that next time.

The boba here tastes great. I got strawberry boba with my mango tea and it’s really good. The pricing also isn’t bad (considering boba, which is pretty expensive anywhere). Even though I got strawberry boba, which is an up charge, it ended up being priced similar to some places with just the...

I wanted to love it. I give 1 star for smoothness, 1 for friendly staff, and 1 for speed. I ordered the brown sugar creme brĂ»lĂ©e. For a medium small drink I paid over 6 bucks (5.50 drink and then tax) which is very expensive. That’s without boba which is extra 75 cents. If I got boba it would be close to 7 bucks for a medium sized bubble tea! I also asked for the loyalty card but they didn’t have any on hand so that sucks- those are supposed to encourage people to come back. I honestly can’t say it’s worth it. I did like that they had the percent sweetness option for those who don’t want it too sweet.
