Initially we were happy with our purchase (day after black friday). My fiance though wanted me to get a bigger carat ring.
So we looked into it and then called to see what we can do, so Justine explained that we could either change out the diamond with one that's on sale or even do an upgrade. As long as its double the price we can do it at anytime. So we were looking to get the same Adriana Papell but at the 1 carat size so we were informed it would be a $4k difference. Ok that sounded good so we asked for the 1 carat to be sent to the store, as it was only online or at other stores, so we can take a look at it in person. Took about two weeks or longer to get there unfortunately, and I kept having to follow up with the store which I would have right being in sales the store would be more on top of this sale.
While waiting anxiously and deciding we were informed we could put the bigger ring in layaway with just putting 10% down by Maria. Even better for us...
But then on December 21st when we went in the store and were informed that it would actually be $5100 not $4I difference and now we cant put it on layaway because then the prize while in layaway. We were hoping to get it but why the prize change.... and all the changes in things that were initially said to us. Dont you want the sale???
We were even planning to put $1k down to start the lay away and then this happens... then we waited to see if Nancy would call u . Who initially sold us the ring to follow up and see if we were still interested etc. Nothing yet....
Unfortunately our experience was not great at all. Although we bought a total of 4 pieces at the store in less than 1 month, and spending over $3500. This is not how you get customers to return. Again very disappointed with our experience.

   Read moreI have purchased many pieces of jewelry at Zales. I recently brought my engagement ring and wedding band into the store to have them appraised for insurance purposes. After 2 1/2 weeks, I called the store to find out what was going on as the ring appraisal should have already been completed. After talking to two different associates on the phone, who couldnât give me an answer I finally was able to speak with the new assistant manager, Justin. Even though he was not involved in the original drop off, he was very reassuring to me that he would look into the situation the following business day, and would personally give me a call back to update me. Knowing the situation was a priority to him made me feel very valued as a customer. He came back with the news that it would still be another week to receive the rings. I was feeling a bit frustrated, but Justin reassured me that he would stay on top of it and would give me a call personally as soon as my jewelry came back to the store. When my husband and I arrived to pick up the rings, both Justin and the manager Liz were extremely friendly, helpful, and apologetic for any inconvenience the situation had caused us. I truly appreciated their kindness and attentiveness. Liz even recognized me as she knows I frequent the store regularly. There were some great deals so we even purchased something while we were there. Amazing people really, I came in with only 10 minutes before closing and these angels helped me find an amazing anniversary gift. I live about 40 min to an hour out, and they really did make my drive from one place to another worth it. I had a tight budget and an idea of what I was looking for, aside from how much I appreciate the amazing help sales wise, I appreciate them as people.
