This is the first time I've ever ordered from toy dojo. I ordered the studio series 86 Commander class Optimus Prime. The retail price on is 89.99, and they are charging 94.99, but after tax and shipping and everything like that it was still under $120, which is the absolute lowest price I found it for before taxes and shipping anywhere else, so I still feel like I got a deal for being a procrastinator and not getting it when it was released. So I ordered it on the 3rd of October, by the 4th of October it was already delivered to the Austin Texas USPS facility, and my expected delivery date is Monday the 7th. Keep in mind I'm in North Carolina not Western, but mid North Carolina, and we're having a lot of hurricane related issues, so it may not arrive Monday but that's not toy dojo's fault. My point is is that not even 18 hours after I made my order it is already in transit! That is spectacular! I just felt like I needed to give a good review for that, because I've never had a company get my order out so quickly, especially when it comes to transformers. Obviously Amazon's faster but obviously they're more expensive as well. Much...

Not a bad tiny little place, stuffed to the rafters with collectibles -- less of a toy shop and more of a particular few toy lines on the high end. We're talking 100s for some, but there are also some cheaper items like gunpla kits (including some exclusive ones) and other things.

EDIT: I forgot to mention their gunpla kits are priced nice. They just seem to tack on a bit to make some money, but it's barely over what you might pay normally. Could you find them cheaper somewhere online? Maybe, but you might also wait 6 weeks or might risk getting something you don't want.

I would like to see more of a variety -- after all, there are more toy lines out there than transformers -- but the people here are nice.

I got a little tired of having to ask "How much is this?" but they explained it to me, since collectors would rather not have a price tag stuck on something they collect. Makes sense.

Also, one of the people working there is a gunpla kit builder, so I know who to bug with my questions! :)

Cool place, a little cramped and messy, but otherwise...

Awesome experience! Came here due to the numerous 5 star reviews and didn’t leave disappointed. First visit near closing, met Eddie who was very knowledgeable on all the figures and kits and even knew most of the older niche mecha anime I grew up with! He was patient and I didn’t feel rushed at all even with my many questions. Bought a small Sazabi figure to support the local business and he let me know he had some inventory of other figures that I told him I was very interested in and that he could bring them in for me. Came in again two days later and walked out a happy fan with a giant Evangelion figure and two Tetsujin 28 figures. Thanks to Eddie and his staff for being so cool and remembering our conversation with these pieces! Prices are incredibly reasonable and it’s great to see this store get the positive reviews it deserves. I will definitely be...

Great spot for finding some Gundam kits at great prices. Also nice selection of other series figures like JOJO, Transformers, DBZ, MHA, and many more. The location of this place is pretty bizarre, but interesting. It is a bit cramped once inside and you will find yourself squeezing around people to get to another section of items. The employees are pretty chill and very knowledgeable about their products. It's a pretty amazing store for what they offer compared to other local shops like Barnes & Nobles or Hobby Town which seems to not have much of anything in this town. Overall pretty wonderful first time visit. Walked out with a Gundam G40 kit & I am very pleased!

OH! MY! WOW! this store has a small space but BIIIIIIG variety, big collection big inventory! When I'm in town, my girlfriend takes me to multiple anime shops in the area and of all of them this one has the biggest collection. They even had avatar the last Airbender Funko pops that are hard to come by. They had demon slayer stuff (yes, the tanjiro figure that isn't at any other places in town). If you want to visit just one anime shop and don't want to make too many trips, stop here, chances are l, you'll find what you need here. The two lovely people working there were helpful and answered any questions we had!
