This CPL is a JOKE! 7 to 8 is a busy time and they never have enough staff and just do not care that they are slow and making people late for work. They have staff scheduling issues, one employee that is “always late”, according to the women behind the counter. A staff that took off at 730 even though the 730 employee was late again, she left… They have an uncaring management, one lade said several times she called someone several times but they did not answer and had not called back. The lady who is, I guess, the one that is always late had to drop her child off for the first day of day care. The child took off to play and mom hung around to BS with the staff. They took 4 applicants for the AFD ahead of everyone else and said we have to move AFD to the front of the line… BS if they are on AFD payroll I respect that but applicant that are NOT AFD, yet, wait like everyone else…. Some woman that was waiting had waited till the day of her appointment, 4 hours before to get blood work done so they took her ahead of 7 or 8 other people. Because of her poor time management we all had to suffer, she should have to wait like everyone else! And the lady buried in the computer finally look at me and asked my name, after 3 other people had been called ahead of me but came in after me….I finally got the blood work done. If the Dr that ordered the blood work cannot arrange for me to do it at ARC, I will have to charge Dr’s… or just NOT do blood work… ARC gets them in and out. I would go to Quest but they bruise people. FIX IT OR CLOSE IT...Other CPL's are further away but they are larger and staffed...
Read moreIf you have an infant I would never suggest going to this location. I had to go there for required blood testing with my baby, I asked the lady at the front desk before I got there how long the wait was. I told her I didn’t want to wait 5 hours since you can’t make appointments. I was genuinely just curious how long the wait was and if I should wait and go at a later time that day. She couldn’t tell me how long the wait was over the phone. When I got there people were there for optional studies, that were coughing and sneezing all over the place. Which with a small baby makes you nervous since again I was not there by choice. I tried to keep her covered while I waited. I probably really only waited 45 minutes which is okay but then when they called me back the lady who I had talked to on the phone started making fun of me not realizing I could hear her. Basically saying how ridiculous it was I thought I would have to wait and in all her time there no one has ever had to wait that long. She said “that’s the mom who thought she would have to wait 5 hours” and then was laughing with the other workers there. In my experience anything medically related there is always a wait and that is okay. I just wanted to know how long the wait was. I did tell her I could hear her and how unprofessional I felt it was that she behaved that way. She tried to apologize but honestly she should be reported for lack of professionalism. I caught her name, her name was Pat. No one should be treated that way. Anyway don’t go to this location if you have...
Read moreI am a long-term patient of the CPL on Brodie. As a diabetic with serious blood sugar issues, it is important that I am served in a timely manner. This morning they were very busy and when the phlebotomist finally called my name, she did this followed by the names of two additional patients. Those individuals that were called after me were served first before me all the while my blood sugar is descending into the danger zone (I'm there for a fasting draw).. Both individuals that were after me, but taken before me turned out to me problem sticks and finally someone from the front desk came back with a "special" draw. After serving him I told her what was happening and she graciously finally drew my fasting blood. This delay caused me to be in the danger zone (less than 70) which should not have happened if they had followed the proper serving order which the phlebotomist had ignored--my thanks to the nice lady at the front desk. I had been there the day before for draws for two different doctors. When I showed har the large venous bruise (the size of a quarter or more) resulting from that stick she apologized. I explained to her that the yesterday phlebotomist had to "fish around" in that vein to get the required blood and I'm an easy stick with great veins. Also, yesterday when I had taken the pressure bandage off after over an hour, I had bled profusely. I had to keep pressure on it for an extended period of time to stop the bleeding. As a long term patient of theirs, I am beginning to...
