I came tonight and waited in line for an hour before I was able to go into the store. The management at this location is just down right terrible. I only saw the employee come out to inform customers of the progress ONCE. Once I was able to get into the store, i believed I had time before the 9 o clock closing time came. Apparently, I was wrong and was only informed the store closed at 8 when I was already in the store with 10 minutes to stop. IN ADDITION, In those ten minutes the employees continuously rushed shoppers to check out, “please take the customers waiting outside into consideration.” If you cared about those customers you would’ve went out to inform them that the store was closing instead of wasting their time and sitting around either ONLY stocking or ONLY waiting to check customers out. When I finished checking out, it was already closing time and many customers were waiting outside with NO idea that the store was already closed. They’d waited outside for more than half an hour. No employee came to tell them that the store was closing soon. A “hi we are closing in 30 minutes, whether you choose to wait or not is completely up to you,” would be nice. If there are 3 people paying and no longer shopping, take in 3 people so that there is no waiting gap. Don’t know if I will shop here again. This customer experience...
Read moreThey're doing a great job of managing covid when I went. They've got enough registers for people and a single line that winds for check out.
They were pretty hit or miss on some things being stocked, but I think they were taking inventory when I went, especially because of the holiday season.
If you've never been to a Daiso, they're a lot like Five Below stores and some dollar stores. Not everything is a dollar mind you. It's basically like $1-5 for every item in the store.
I especially love coming to Daiso specifically for their stationary. They're a really good place to get affordable stationary that's just as cute as what's in Kinokuniya. If you're looking for a cute way to wrap any gifts, they have a lot of cute and creative ways to gift wrap as well for sale. They have a lot of general items, like if you're looking for some general kitchen, travel, or school supplies they have a decent amount for sale.
The store was very clean and they made sure everyone wore masks and distanced as much as possible. Be aware that there's not much parking in front of it. Some of the surrounding spaces in the front of the store are reserved for the stores next door. So its best to park nearby and just walk cuz you likely won't find parking right up front. Still overall definitely...

We brought our drinks in because there were no signs at the door and upon entering any mention of drinks nor food. Went by 2 or 3 employees that just said hi. Including cashier that mentioned nothing of the drink. After few minutes of shopping a girl comes by saying we aren't allowed to bring drinks and that we are supposed to put them on the table up front or get out. I told her I didn't see any sign and she just walked off.
Maybe I missed a sign went back to the front but there was no sign saying anything about a drink but I decided to play nice and put the drinks on the table. And within a minute or so announcements were made over the intercom that food and drinks were not allowed. It felt like that girl went to go play that sound or said it over the intercom just for us.
Few minutes later I saw two different groups with their drinks and no one mentions anything to them for 20-30min until we left including the girl that told us no drinks.
It's just awesome Daiso got some discriminating employees that just randomly decideds some people can have open drinks and...
