I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Debut Soco Apartments, and I must say that it was nothing short of a disappointment. From the moment I moved in, I encountered numerous issues that tainted my entire stay. Here are just a few of the problems I encountered:
Mold Infestation: Upon moving in, I was greeted with the unsightly sight of mold on the ceilings. Despite bringing this issue to the attention of the management, the problem persists to this day. It is unacceptable to subject residents to such an unhealthy living environment.
Faulty Washer and Dryer: For a staggering four months, I had to deal with a non-functional washer and dryer. Multiple service requests were made, but it took an excessive amount of time for the management to finally replace the appliances. This kind of delay is simply unacceptable and shows a lack of concern for residents' needs.
Gnat Infestation: One of the most unbearable aspects of my stay was the constant presence of gnats. Despite making roughly eight pest treatment requests, the problem remains unresolved. The gnats have infiltrated every aspect of my daily life, making it impossible to eat or drink without their unwelcome intrusion. The fact that neighboring residents also face this issue indicates a complete failure in management's responsibility to address and rectify the problem promptly.
Parking Negligence: The enforcement of towing unauthorized vehicles in reserved parking spaces is practically non-existent. On a regular basis, I found my parking spot occupied by a new car, and it seems that even the staff themselves disregard the parking regulations. This lack of attention to parking concerns is not only inconvenient but also reflects a disregard for residents' rights.
Negligence towards Security: Within days of moving in, my car was broken into, resulting in stolen property and a sense of violation. Shockingly, the staff displayed a lack of care or concern when I reported the incident. Their dismissive attitude only amplified the distress caused by this unfortunate event.
Neglected Dog Parks: The advertised dog parks, including one enclosed within the apartment complex, were nothing short of disappointing. They were constantly filled with dog feces and urine, indicating a severe lack of maintenance and cleanliness. This negligence is not only unhygienic but also compromises the safety and well-being of residents, their guests and their pets.
Dilapidated Gym Facilities: Despite being promoted as a "state-of-the-art" gym, the reality was far from it. The gym's carpet was visibly coming up, posing a tripping hazard, and a persistent water leak in the ceiling was never addressed. These issues not only reflect poor upkeep but also compromise the safety and enjoyment of residents using the facilities.
In conclusion, my stay at Debut Soco Apartments was an incredibly disappointing experience. From mold-infested ceilings to unresponsive management, and a disregard for security and cleanliness, the list of grievances is endless. I cannot in good conscience recommend this apartment complex to anyone seeking a comfortable and well-maintained living environment. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by looking elsewhere for your...

I feel compelled to share my terrible experience during my one-year lease at Debut SoCo. From the moment I moved in, it became abundantly clear that this place was a complete disaster. I have encountered numerous issues throughout my stay, including cockroach infestations, an unreliable air conditioning system, a dysfunctional dishwasher, and a lack of security that led to my vehicle being broken into. To top it off, the leasing agents have been utterly unhelpful and indifferent to my concerns.
Let's start with the cockroach infestations. It's appalling how frequently I've had to submit service requests to address this issue. Despite their promises to eradicate the problem, the infestation persisted throughout my entire lease. These repulsive creatures invaded my living space, making it impossible to feel comfortable or at ease in my own home. The property management's lack of urgency and proper pest control measures is simply inexcusable.
Now, let's move on to the air conditioning system, which was an ongoing nightmare. Over the course of just one year, I had to submit over ten service requests for repairs. The system would frequently malfunction, leaving me sweltering in unbearable heat during the scorching summer months. Despite their attempts to fix it, the problems persisted, causing immense discomfort and frustration.
The dishwasher, or should I say, the decoration piece that came with the apartment, has never worked since the day I moved in. Numerous requests were made to address this issue, yet no action was taken. It's infuriating to pay for amenities that are advertised as part of the apartment, only to find out they are nothing but empty promises. The lack of attention and accountability from the management is utterly disappointing.
To add insult to injury, the security of the apartment complex is a joke. My vehicle was broken into, causing significant damage and loss. When I turned to the leasing agents for assistance, they displayed a shocking level of apathy. They seemed disinterested in resolving the matter or implementing any measures to enhance the security of the complex. This lack of support left me feeling vulnerable and violated.
Throughout my lease, the leasing agents have been completely unhelpful, demonstrating a complete disregard for tenant satisfaction and well-being. They have consistently failed to address my concerns and provide adequate solutions. Their lack of empathy and responsiveness is nothing short of appalling.
In conclusion, my one-year lease at Debut SoCo has been an absolute nightmare. The recurring cockroach infestations, the never-ending issues with the air conditioning system, the dysfunctional dishwasher, and the lack of security measures have made this experience unbearable. The indifference and incompetence displayed by the leasing agents have only exacerbated my frustration. I strongly advise anyone considering renting at this complex to reconsider their decision, as the quality of living and the support provided by the management are nothing...

We originally moved into Debut Soco into an apartment on the 1st floor and had so many issues with the tenants above us which management was unable to resolve.
Management at the time, advised breaking our lease wasn't an option even though living below the 2nd floor tenant, was unbearable. The only option was to sign a new lease and move to the 4th floor.
All management from this time period has quit, or left. There's an extremely high turnover rate with management and Debut employees.
We moved into our second unit on the 4th floor and had many issues upon our initial walk-through. Everything was noted and never addressed despite our many, many service requests and follow ups. After a period of time we decided to just live with the issues because we knew no one would fix them.
The largest issue was our dryer, which was broken for the first 2 months. We also didn't have a working disposal or working light in the freezer.
There is always dog feces and pee in the hallways, elevators and all over the dog parks. It's unbearable to walk on the first floor and have to smell the dog areas as you walk past. It's embarrassing to have friends visit.
Upon move-in there is disclaimer about submitting a doggy fecal DNA sample to keep on file so management can charge tenants who don't pick up after their dogs, but obviously that's all fake because nothing is ever done about it.
The printers never work in the business center, ever.
The gym cleaning wipes are always empty, which is unsanitary as many people who live here do not clean the machines before and after use. Some people even walk on the treadmills barefoot.
There is vandalism in the hallways and the elevators are all trashed. Buttons are ripped off and never fixed or repaired. It's incredible what they charge for rent here.
Also the elevators are always broken. I hope you like climbing the stairs.
Security is a joke. We had to call 3-4 times and once you call you are redirected to a call center that asks you 20 unnecessary questions before being able to help at all. To much avail, police are never sent, resulting in crazy homeless encounters and severe damage to vehicles in the parking garage.
Debut Soco is unable to get tenants to re-sign their leases and has resulted in allowing units to be AirBnb's, which is insane! There are strangers going in and out of our building with garage and key access without having to go through the same background screening as tenants.
If it wasn't for previous management forcing us into another year-long lease, we would have moved out last year, months into our first...
