I have been here a few times and it has been fun, but last Friday the waitress tried to steal $10 from me when my friend paid for our beers and I didn't know it at first. I slapped 10 on the bar and she just took it and walked off, no change, no eye contact, no putting it in the tip jar either. Of course now she wasn't going to come to the end of the bar or look at me for awhile, so I finally got her attention and she just looks at me from the middle of the bar and shrugs like 'what?'. I finally get her to come over and she pulls the 10 out of her pocket and puts it on the bar with nothing more that a quick 'I didn't know' and turns around. Very impolite...

Read moreI first went there with my mother around 1974. Exceptional neighborhood dive bar. A fellow named Bill Pittman and his wife ran it. The only thing that really has changed is the clientele. A lot more millennials. Most patrons during that time I first frequented it were older and have either passed or have had to move from surrounding areas because they were forced to relocate because they could not afford the cost of property taxes due to gentrification.
