GameStop — Attraction in Avon

If i could give (0) Stars i would based upon how i was treated this afternoon while in this store!!!! The chic that was working, is real short, dark haired, and has jacked up eye brows!!!! Shes completely disrespectfuland a total b**!!! I visited this store to purchase Madden 18, a xbox one, and sell some games and accessories!!! I started to pull out some of the items i had for sale and before i could even get 2 game consoles out of the bag, she told me they were not interested in my stuff!! I had four duffel bags full by the way with wiis, 360s, and playstations 2 3 and 4. Games and accessories! Thats fine ok u dont want my stuff, but when i went to tell her i wanted a couple things she told me to take my item out of the store first or she wouldnt take care of me! I never left the counter or didnt have to everything i needed she had to take care of at the counter but she turned me away! Was it because im a bigger guy and sweaty from working 12 hours to provide for my family and smelled funny or did you just think i didnt have any money for other items because i was trying to sale something??? Dont have a buy, sale, and trade store, if you are going to use that tp discriminate against a long time customer that will now only use disc replay because hell who will even read...

For as much crap that Gamestop receives, their policies for used games and accessories can't be beat. Especially in an industry where publishers try and screw you over every chance they get. The store in Avon, Indiana, is a fine example of how awesome they can really be. The service is always friendly, the store is always clean and organized (as much as a game store can be), and never once have I had to wait an excess of time that wasn't a huge midnight release. The only complaints come from their used accessories. I bought an Xbox controller and had an immediate problem. Luckily I was able to trade it back in for a full refund (within 7 days) or a replacement (30 days). The second controller had issues as well, but the third was given with a rechargeable battery pack and charger. Though frustrating, they treated me well and compensated more then I had expected. Note: While they had a controller each time, they can only offer what they have in stock. Just because they couldn't help you find a game or accessory doesn't mean another one doesn't, or that someone won't trade it in later...

If I could rate zero stars I would. This GameStop location is by far the worst, and will not be coming back any time soon. Not only do the employees seem like they not want to be there, they are not knowledgeable in any way.

Now to why they are getting 1 star today. Yesterday (2/3) due to the snow storm thise store was closed, which is understandable, however with roads clear they are not open again today. This location was supposed to be open at 10 am, it's noon now and still not open, yet all the other locations in the area are open. After contacting several other stores they got in touch with this locations manager, the reason they are not.open.is because they are stuck in their driveway. I'm sorry but this excuse should only last an hour not more than two.

Very disappointed especially with having to pick up the 80 dollar game that was pre-ordered. I had to sell out another 80 to go to a different location to get my game. Now waiting so I can get a refund. Do yourself a favor and do not shop at...
