BUGS / BAD SERVER
Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant
And I served at for 6 years if that says anything . I’ve had people spill beer on me and still treated them better than I was treated.
Host was great
Within the first two minutes at our booth we spotted no lie 5 ants and tiny little flies on the window.
We asked to move and the waitress rolled her eyes said sure and literally WALKED AWAY didn’t guide us didn’t point to where nothing. She didn’t come back for 10 minutes. When she did she in a supper smarty pants way asked “so is this okay or do yall need to move somewhere else?”
We finally order apps and she wants us to order our dinner at the same time and we said we weren’t ready. She rolled here eyes and said “well I have plenty of other things to do” And left
( after having to move due to bugs we were talking about leaving but decided to give it another shot since there was a big tree outside the window I suggested it probably happens once in a long while and we shouldn’t judge to harshly. I used to work here!!!!)
She comes back and I order my food.
I got the eggplant parm. And I’m very specific to make sure there is no red sauce on anything on the plate since their sauce gets mixed up a lot and they put meat sauces on non meat platters. ( I’ve seen it literally happen myself I’ve been a vegetarian for two years. One sauce modification at a Italian restaurant isn’t hard at all )
She comes back with our app and literally drops it on the table and walks right away. No Alfredo breadstick or coke refills no hi how are ya. And by the way we still don’t know her name.
Next she brings the salad it has dead wilted lettuce all over it and it literally is dry with no dressing I’m not even kidding. I TRY I TALK AND SHE WALKS AWAY.
We ask for refills she rolls her eyes. She drops it off and huffs and passive aggressively asks my partner if they need one too. They said yes and again rolled their eyes huffed and walked.
We agreed to leave and paid. We grab the manager on the way out because the last thing we need is the table behind us full of children to cry over ants and other bugs.
We tell Nate their manager and he literally has ZERO clue about the bugs which tells me she didn’t even say anything. He asks us who our waitress is and we can’t even tell him because she didn’t introduce herself or have her name tag on. All I can saw was the waitress with a “mama” necklace on.
I served for 6 years. Once at the literal location we ate at and she was hostile aggressive then the manager gave us a gift card that didn’t even cover our meal. Didn’t ask us how much. Then nate the gm tries to question me and asks me who I worked for and when . I went home.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. I’m calling...
Read moreI’ve been here a couple of time and honestly you’re experience is basically dependent on your waiter, some give literally the least amount of care to customer service but the worst moment and the reason I’ll never return is cause of tonight when after waiting for 30 minutes to get a table. We get seated at the center of everything and where the waiters exit the kitchen and everyone that arrives walks through so kindly we requested to be seated in one of the areas that were clean and empty(I usually conform with where we are sitting I don’t get upset with this kind of stuff if my request is denied but with respect and a polite voice). Well the waiter didn’t know what to do so he asked someone else if it was okay which was weird since that has never been a problem before. Well the lady comes up to us and with a very passive aggressive tone she says that there aren’t any available sitting areas and that if we want another area we would have to enter the waiting list again. We mention the two booths that were clean and right next to us and she just says that those are for other guest who are waiting on the guest list. This was such a dumb excuse imo. I got there first and there are better sitting areas shouldn’t I get a sitting area thats empty and more comfortable for the customer which to me is not a problem I’m usually a passive chill person but the fact that all this she’s spouting it out at a high volume where every other person around hears with her passive aggressiveness just saying that she can put us on the waiting list if we don’t like our seats. We decide to not go back on the waiting list and leave even after having our sodas brought so we pay the dumb sodas. Well as a final nail to the coffin, we request some a bit of the soda to go since we already paid for it. Well the waiter just brought cup... empty cups to fill with whatever was left of our soda. I honestly don’t recommend going to a place where the quality of service is the spin of the roulette where odds are you are...
Read moreWorst Olive Garden experience of my life. The manager working the night of 4/2 has 0 pride in his work or care for customers.
We had a group of 4 adults and 4 young children come in around 5:30. We were told 40 minutes or so wait. We waited patiently but then started to notice groups coming in and being immediately seated while we waited. After an hour wait I asked for an update and was told the table we are 'assigned to' has a group that has been there for 1.5 hours and should be free soon. More waiting and groups entering and leaving as we sat there. At this point people were leaving who had come into the restaurant after us.
At around 1.25 hours a customer was leaving and saw us and said "you all are still waiting?" It's pretty ridiculous when a customer cares more about us than the manager did. I then found the manager and he said they were getting us seated soon. Took another 15 minutes before we were finally seated. Remember, we only have 4 adults. We don't need a large 8 person table. And anyone else coming in was seated immediately as we sat there.
After the dinner we were surprised at the manager's lack of interest in helping or caring about if situation. After dinner a member of our party explained that we felt wronged and the manager gave a discount of 25%.
That would have made the situation a little better but as we were walking out we overheard him speaking to someone else saying "the only reason I did it was because she asked so nice." Wow. Disparaging customers because we hoped for good service and wanted to be seated like every other person who walked in the 1.5 hours we waited.
Whoever the manager was is completely unfit for it. Would be fired if I was the owner. He saw our situation and at no point over 1.5 hours had the commom sense to think"maybe I should find a way to seat them instead of waiting for 1 specific table".
Wish we wouldn't have done business there but never expected it to be that bad. Maybe someone will read this and avoid this place...
