Nice, old park with large trees for shade and plenty of room to move around mingle or find a patch of grass and keep to yourself. Plenty of tables and ammenities for any outdoor festivities you may be planning. There is a small water fun zone to cool off and let the kids have fun during the HOT summer. The park is located in the Westchester subdivision very close to Mercy Hospital's downtown campus and walking distance to the downtown area and county government buildings. There is no lot for parking your vehicle so you'll have to park on one of the adjacent streets. Westchester is one of the oldest affluent areas in town and the architecture of the homes and buildings is worth a stroll through the neighborhoods if you're interested in historical architecture.
