Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Bakersfield

Drive thru line was long, almost off property so we opted to use the walk up window. Few groups of people ahead of us. Waited about 15 minutes and the people who were at the end of the drive thru line when we got here were long gone, and we were still waiting. Another man who had been waiting said he’d been there 40 minutes, went up to the window to ask about his order and was told they just started it. 40 minutes waiting, having as he said seen the cars go round and round through the drive thru and they had JUST started his 2 drink order. He got his drinks 5 minutes later and by this time we were up to 25 minutes. Someone else who had been waiting as long as him when and asked about their order… a few minutes later it came out. Went up to the window to ask about our order at the 35 minute mark and they called our order out.

Pulled into the drive through at the end of a line of cars. Thought I got lucky and caught them before they closed. Waited 15 minutes for my turn. Watched them hand the car in front of me their order. When I pulled up to the window I was jokingly told I must have snuck into the line because they were closed and had shut down all the machines. What? They just made an order for the person in front of me and then shut it all down? They couldn’t come out 15 minutes earlier to tell me they were closed? They waited until I pulled up to the window? Not the service I would expect from a Dutch Bros but I guess this one isn’t as big on customer service as the other ones I’ve been to. And I “must have snuck in to line”? Didn’t find that funny. Or the allowing me to wait. Even as I watched team members walk in and out of the “Mafia Only” door. Not the service I’ve expected from...

TLDR: employees were rude when asking if they could hand blended my drinks, and didn’t make them correctly

From out of town so when I saw they had a Dutch bros in Bakersfield, was excited! I always order my drinks hand-blended, I know it’s not the funniest drink for the employees to make, but I always loved the texture. The girl who took our order (didn’t catch her name) was trying to do anything to not have the drink be hand blended, tried to gaslight us into thinking that they didn’t have that option. I asked her and she fixed it, and maybe my tone annoyed her but she eventually did. After our order she went back inside (possibly trashed talked us to her coworkers) because when we pulled up to the window the worker shouted the order at us.
