This is the second and will be the last time we will visit this place. It was over $70 for 2 kids and they were very limited in what they could do for being 42”. I’m disappointed since they had an subpar experience ( and quite frankly an unacceptable one) here due to bigger kids bullying and even adults being super unaware to the point where it was dangerous. This place was very dirty from food being left on the floor for the 2 hours we were there to the bathroom having urine on the floor( which kids are constantly using without their shoes on ) A major safety concern was the small children going into the bathrooms without supervision (especially in the world we live in now) which is not up to the staff to have to watch these children but it’s still a major concern as we saw multiple kids that had to have been under the age of 4 there alone. The bathrooms are not the only places lacking supervision , the play area with the slides were horrid. Bigger kids over the height limit were running in an out of that play area pushing around the smaller kids and being super rough, with that being said it’s not being monitored by staff members ( although there were 3 sitting by chatting) which is why these kids are getting away with these behaviors. Another major safety concern ( and quite frankly my last straw) were the trampolines . There were grown adult men lacking common sense and not following the rules jumping on the trampoline doing tricks(flipping over) around little kids and at one point almost knocking my child over which could have resulted in a serious injury. These trampolines are also not monitored by staff , a staff member came over briefly to get after kids for sitting on a trampoline but that was the extent of the supervision and the behavior continued after the staff member left. Also , after this incident there were kids jumping around with food and getting it all over the trampolines( if this doesn’t show how much of a free for all it is I don’t know what will!) Last thing I wanted to throw in : what is the point of the security guard ? This person was on their phone a couple of the times we had passed by them , put them by the trampolines lol give them something to monitor/ do!
Overall , I would not recommend this place for anyone with smaller children as I feel it could result in serious injury due to the lack of supervision from staff and other parents there.
One positive thing I will add is there was an employee working the bumper cars ( female today 8/2 around 5pm) and she was extremely kind and attentive to the kids in her area, my child hit her head pretty rough on the seat after being bumped and this staff member was quick to act and get my daughter...
Read moreTerrible place. I scheduled a time slot on January 24th from 3-5pm. Upon arriving we waited in line to get in. The line started moving in and they were letting people in as the group prior was leaving. Unfortunately many members of the prior group decided they did no have to leave and the Urban Air was not requesting them to leave even though their paid for time slot was over. Myself and many other families started to crowed into the entrance way as it was cold out. We were then told we had to move back outside. No one wanted to be out in the cold or lose their spots in line especially since we were supposed to be in the park at this point. Us along with other families inquiring why the parties who’s time were up were not being told to leave. They said they can not do that. This is very confusing as they paid for a time slot and their time is up. After about 30 minutes of waiting the staff let a family of 6 in that did not have reservations in front of all of in line that had reservations. At this point most people in line were very angry and the 2 young girls and young man at the door just kept saying we are just employees. Many of asked to speak to a manager, in which I had actually requested prior. We were told the manager was busy. If the manager was that busy with problems, that’s a problem in itself. I believe the manager was to much of a coward to come speak to us. One of the employees offered to give all of in line waiting free passes to the trampolines for a later date for the inconvenience. These passe were for any time they were open, but the had crossed that out and wrote Monday - Thursday. Yes the days adults are working and kids have school. After close to an hour many of us decided to leave and requested a refund. They took down our names and numbers and said they would contact us. Here it is Friday, almost a week later and I have heard nothing from Urban Air and disputed this with my credit card company. The unprofessional deminer of this company is beyond words. Time slots are time slots and when yours is up its time to leave. Urban Air neglected to fulfill there obligations to paying customers and could care less. I feel bad for the my kids and the other kids that didn’t get in due to the bait and switch tactics of providing time slots. I would not recommend anybody spend their hard earned money...
Read moreMy seven year old daughter came to me crying the attendants would not let her ride the zip line because she didn’t have the requisite “urban air socks” per their policy, despite her cousin literally going through the air above our heads on said zip line without the requisite socks as we were speaking. I asked for a manager as my daughter was wearing grippy socks from another establishment, and the manager said it is viewed as a safety policy and advised the policy is posted at the register area.
I follow the manager back to the register and leaning on the back wall in between the sock boxes approximately 20 feet from where customers stand at the register is a single 10”x14” (legal pad sized) sign in approximately 16 font paragraph form advising of the sock policy. I ask the manager to read it from where we were standing at the register (neither the 40 y/o male manager or the 20 y/o female manager could read it) and the female manager took the sign and handed it to me. I told her is didn’t ask for it, however i stepped about 15 feet back and asked them to read it in its entirety. Again, neither one of them could, neither could even identify the first word of the policy (Due) - however the security guard was now in the mix. The point I was trying to make was simply that if they could not read it (and they knew where it was), it is not a reasonable expectation for customers to read it while posted behind the registers, which is off limits to customers. Sadly, neither seemed able to grasp this simple concept.
My whole point is my daughters experience was ruined as we were never advised that purchasing the most expensive tickets are worthless without said socks.
The managers of this establishment have a juvenile arrogance about them despite being middle aged, and it is frustrating they seem completely indifferent to the experience their exceedingly poor management skills and attitudes create for customers.
On the other hand, if they are going to mandate use of their proprietary “Urban Air socks” and treat them as safety equipment that must be purchased separately from the admission pass as the manager described and per their policy, I do believe this affects the customers litigious rights with regards to the mandatory waiver. So if your child gets injured while wearing the urban air socks, be sure to speak with...
