The last time that I’ve been to this restaurant was about a year ago. I live about 3 miles from this location and my place of employment is right next-door so it is convenient for me to stop in the morning before going into the office. Last year I made the decision to quit going there because of numerous mistakes that often seem to be made by the person in charge.
Today I decided to go ahead and give them another try. I decided to stop and get a sandwich to take to work for my breakfast. When I pulled up to the drive-thru there was no one in front of me and no one behind me. The girl who answered the intercom did her greeting and asked me if I would like to try some new honey biscuit. So I said sure I’ll try it and I also ordered a bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich. When I pulled around to the window, I was immediately greeted by the same gentleman who appeared to be the manager a year ago. He told me that there was gonna be a bit of a wait for that honey biscuit that she suggested I try. I told him I couldn’t wait, to go ahead and take it off of my bill And I’ll just take the other sandwich because I need to get to work. Again, he didn’t say anything at all about there being a wait time for this other sandwich. He just gave my debit card back and I thought he was going to get the other sandwich that I ordered because he didn’t say anything about that having a wait time. I waited an additional five minutes, which to me was plenty of time to put my sandwich in the bag and hand it to me. Again, no one in front of me no one behind me. The store I believe had only been open for 30 minutes at this point. I kept looking to get his attention to come back to the window and just refund me because clearly there was something delaying them. No one would come to the window and no one would look my way so I made the decision to leave because I needed to get to my job.
First of all, why would she offer someone to try a sandwich or a biscuit that they didn’t have ready to go and why didn’t the manager tell me there was a delay for everything and I would’ve just not paid for any of it and they could have cancelled the entire order.
This is so frustrating because it’s like places don’t care anymore about their customer service. I am attaching a screenshot of the debit that was deducted from my account because he didn’t give me a receipt and I didn’t want anyone to think I was making this up. I’m pretty sure I’m never gonna see this money again because I was the one who chose to leave, but because I work in the medical field, my job and my patients are more important. I guess I’ll just chalk it up to an expensive lesson learned and not go back ever again. Also, I shared my experience with everyone that I work with and was not surprised to hear similar stories from my coworkers.
I understand that this is what you guys call your training store, but if this gentleman is the person in charge in the mornings, and these kind of things are happening, perhaps maybe he isn’t a good person to be in charge. Or perhaps he needs some training himself. I mean if you guys open at 6 AM does that mean customers shouldn’t expect anything to be ready until 7 AM? Customers have a lot of choices now I can very easily just go to another restaurant or place of business. I get it. People are human and mistakes happen but in a years time, it really doesn’t appear as though anything has changed and reading through other reviews the same thing seem to be happening...
Read moreGot to the drive thru order sausage gravy over biscuits for someone. The girl at the drive thru starts asking if I want eggs and pancakes. Did I say that? No I did not. We get the first order placed then she tells me my total. In my mind I'm like I had other things to order. I felt rushed and like they really didn't care. I gave the manager a piece of my mind. He tells me the girl who took my order is new. OK I understand that. This now a problem within. Don't put someone new on drive thru. The manager tells me she has been working the front. OK now you took my understand out the window. So she's doing this in the front I guess? I got the order for the person I was getting for. I did not get my food. I was extremely upset by the service there. Took the one order home and got nothing. Thanks guys. I understand someone who's new but she's been working at the front. She should know and knows what she did. Needless to say I won't be going back. Anna and Corp will be getting a call. If I were Anna I'd be very embarrassed by what my staff did. You wanna fix this? Reach out and no matter what time of day I would appreciate my breakfast today. I hope the roy Roger's team has...
Read moreRoy Rogers in Frederick, MD is an okay choice if you’re looking for fast food with a few unique options. It’s not amazing, but it gets the job done. What really stands out right now are the new sliders they’ve added to the menu. They come in three flavors—sweet, mild, and hot—and all of them are worth trying. The hot isn’t overly spicy, just the right amount of kick, and the sweet one seems to use their signature Rush sauce, which is honestly delicious.
What surprised me most is how filling just one slider is. If you pair it with a fixin’ cup and fries, it makes a full meal, which is great considering the prices of some of the other items on the menu. A lot of their regular offerings feel a bit overpriced for what you get, so it’s nice to see a more budget-friendly option that still tastes good.
The staff at this location are friendly and helpful, which definitely improves the overall experience. It’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way to visit often, but for a quick, satisfying bite—especially with the new sliders—it’s a solid,...
