DRIVERS LICENSE TEST - Horrible test administrators. Absolutely flabbergasted at the lack of professionalism. There's not even a complete systems check before you start the test.
The woman administering my test was extremely rude for no reason. I watched the 3 cars ahead of me go, no shouting heard. After watching those 3 cars do the same maneuvers in the same order- I assumed that it was the typical protocol to first pull up past the parking spot with the cones-- in order to BACK into the parking spot. THAT WAS HOW THE 3 CARS AHEAD OF ME WENT!!! AND THAT'S HOW MY DRIVING SCHOOL TAUGHT ME!!
But once it was my turn, this big test lady just only says, 'pull up'. Pull up where? there was literally no more elaboration from her!!! So I assume that she's telling me to pull up a little more past the spot, to back my car in, just like the cars that went before me-- and she FREAKS OUT shouting "what are you doing?! pull in here!!!" to which, again, I had no clear demonstration of where, so I assumed she meant to pull in head first instead. Like, you LITERALLY COULD HAVE SAID, "PULL IN FRONT FIRST" and there would be no problem.
There were many other bouts of verbal agitation from her afterwards too. I don't know what's up with her. Thank goodness I got it over with.
It's also noteworthy that it seemed like the people ahead of me were mixed race or black, while I'm asian. It makes me really uneasy to think that that may have had something to do with her needless and SUDDEN aggression.
Afterwards, I talked to my driving instructor who had watched the whole thing from the side. Apparently, this test lady also completely neglected to watch me do the necessary stops at the stop signs, and use my turn signals. They're just zoned out, pigging out on their snacks or looking away somewhere else.
The MVA staff who oversee the driving test need a long hard lesson in professionalism and calm. There is absolutely no reason for you to shout at anybody. And also they don't care about their jobs. I guess if you need a ridiculously easy test with proctors who don't care, then come here-- but you might get yelled at for being confused by shittily delivered...
Read moreSad Truth About my teen experience with MVA at Middle Sex Baltimore MD 21221.
It's really frustrating when a teen goes through all the hard work and preparation to get their license, only to face bias or unfair treatment from instructors during the MVA road test. Unfortunately, some instructors may let personal biases or jealousy impact their judgments, making the experience feel more like a challenge than an opportunity to fairly assess a driver's skills. After paying a significant amount for driving school! These young drivers deserve a fair chance, not to be targeted or misjudged. Misusing the authority that comes with the job is not only unfair, but it also undermines the entire purpose of the licensing process. Everyone should be treated with respect and given a fair evaluation. We've are experiencing a very difficult challenging process. My son drives daily with me chaperone also drives 9.6 miles to get to MVA three times to get failed. You would think after three times it's definitely a issue, with MVA Instructors. The course is definitely not that difficult to learn. Especially since his driving school use same location for on the road practice he passed with 80% grade. More need to be done as we received little attention on an instructor that flat out lied. After manager camera showed my son used his blinkers. Instructor stated he did not use any blinker. Should have been a retake today. Discrimination is a serious law hope MVA in Middle Sex Shopping Center Baltimore MD 21221 takes seriously.
Big ups to Williams Education Driving School LLC. Didn't know we had to face such a horrible experience after graduating from such a pleasant experience with driving school. Thank you Williams...
Read moreI wish I could rate it with 0 stars. Please avoid this location if you can. I had to go THREE different times to get my drivers license. First time I think the employee was new and she took a while to do process my documents, had to take the picture twice and collect all information, by the time the application was done for submission it was past the closing time for the state office that approves the applications, so she kindly gave me another appointment for a Thursday at 6 pm when they are open until late. It turns out that is this location open until late but not the central one (they usually closes at 4) And effectively when I came back for my SECOND appt it was the same situation, so I needed to A THIRD appointment when I finally got my DL. However, at the moment of payment honestly the lady who was on the counter was very distracted and talking with the other employees. She said of your payment didn’t go through, however I got the charge on my account and I showed to her, and she says yes, whatever but I didn’t go through, so I tap my card again and I have two charges. She said one might disappear in 72 hours, if not call customer service and they are gonna to reverse it back to your account. The 2 payments were charged to my account. I called customer service and guess what? I need to come back a FOURTH time for they to check the duplicate payment and process it back to my card. Every time I go there I need to drive 30 mins to get to the office and 30 mins back. This is so disrespectful and inefficient. They don’t care about other peoples time. They have a...
