Barnegat Lighthouse Interpretive Center — Attraction in Barnegat Light

Great place to check out.. $1 to go up.. Being a huge fan of history this was a fun place to go to.. The employees were friendly and informative.. The Center was very nice n interesting to see n learn.. The lighthouse was neat, with great views.. The only drawback was the lack of coordination between the top and the bottom.. You can get stuck with other people going down while you're going up.. If they put a system in place to help alleviate that issue, it would have been a perfect trip to do.. All in all, still...

It's a beautiful, small park and if you choose to climb the 217 steps, the view is awesome, and usually windy ($3). Nice little trail through the coastal cedar and pine forest and fishing pier walk. It's not hard to go off the concrete walk and continue on...
