Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Barnegat Light

Unfriendly and unaccommodating to customer requests. Asked if they could make a Banana Split Blizzard and the girl said no, only the Blizzards listed on the menu. I asked if the Hawaiian Blizzard was still available and she didn't know what it was. I asked what was on the Blizzard menu and she mumbled/rattled off 5 items before moving on to the next customer. As I walked away, I heard someone from behind her ask what was that about and she said the customer didn't know what he wanted. Went to the Absecon DQ and the very friendly young lady was happy to make the Banana...

I am a long time visitor to Barnegat Light. I have vacationed here with my family for the last 50 years. So, imagine my disappointment when I encountered “snarky” and disrespectful young counter girls at the Barnegat Light Dairy Queen. Now, if the incident was just a one time thing, I would dismiss it as “ a young teen having a bad evening.” However, in addition to last night’s rude service, my family was treated to yet another teen’s attitude this afternoon, Goodbye Dairy Queen.........

I went to this Dairy Queen around 10pm for a fabulous Reese's peanut buttercup blizzard. Unfortunately I was denied my blizzard because they wanted to clean the machine.
