Barnstable Dog Park — Attraction in Barnstable

Very simple for a dog park, but my dog loves it! 3 fenced areas for small, large, and training. Each area has some benches for sitting. Plenty of room in the big dog area for dogs to run and chase balls. The small dog area is a little too small for my medium sized dog to run around in. Dogs are usually well behaved. The gravel is great for easy cleanup and not getting muddy, however, I think some dogs have challenges running around on it and your dog will come home covered in gravel dust. The dog park is conveniently located. Being a new dog Mom, I was anxious because my 8 month old golden pup is so friendly and passive, I thought yikes. Well, the people and the dogs were welcoming and friendly. Most stayed near their dogs and let us know what to expect. They said she'd get more confident each time and they were right! Well-maintained park with friendly dog owners. Well-stocked bag dispensers and convenient water station placed in partial shade. It’s a great community hangout spot!
