LandShark Bar & Grill - Cape Cod — Restaurant in Barnstable

I was on vacation with one of my clients who needs to have receipts to cover every penny soent, and when I went to pick up the food, her order came to 31 and change so I handed him $40. It took him about 5 minutes to cash me out. After he shut the drawer, he asked me if I wanted my change, which was about $10. I had actually placed two separate orders, and I had already given him a $3 tip when I paid for mine first. We did not sit down and eat at the restaurant. We just picked up the food. I told him that I needed my change, and he said he had to go get the manager, which took another 10 minutes. After that, he told me that he needed to keep my receipt when I needed a receipt to account for the money that I spent on my client. He called over another coworker to print a duplicate receipt, and after about 5 minutes, she told him not to worry about it. The kid was very nice, just inexperienced. The food was expensive & good. I wouldn't recommend it, though. There are plenty of other restaurants to try...

Our experience with our waitress was amazing. I forget her name but truthfully, all the wait staff were lovely. However, management was a different story. We had a petty large party and it was my daughter’s birthday. The staff came and sang so my daughter was more than happy. As we’re at our table, I notice that the manager is walking around to tables, asking about experience and so forth. I observe everything. As a manager, you should check in with every table not choose certain ones and not acknowledge other tables. If he had stopped by, he would know that we were disappointed that our lovely waitress was overwhelmed and due to that, we waited too long to get our food and we had a crying baby so we were just frustrated. A table that sat way after us, received their food and drinks before us. Again, this is not against the wait staff but the manager floating around to tables except ours seems extremely...

We were told a 15-20 minute wait at 7:30pm, that was no problem. We were waiting with our 2 kids & over a half an hour after we gave our name & number, we noticed other parties were showing up & they were seating them immediately. When we asked the hostess if we would be seated soon as we had be waiting over a half an hour for a text, she acted clueless like we weren’t on the list & didn’t even make any effort to apologize even though it was obvious she completely forgot about us. (There were a lot of empty tables at this point) Our waitress was nice, it wasn’t her fault, & the food was good. but our kids were already cranky from waiting far too long to be sat & it kind of ruined the experience.
