I'm new to the Memphis area, and decided to check this shop out. At first glance, it looks pretty great. I stopped by on a Sunday, and there were people playing Magic. And I think they have open boats game day sometimes, too. They've got a pretty good selection of trading cards, comics, D&D miniatures, etc, but they've got a great selection of tabletop games, which is important to me. Very cool. I'll be back. Oh, also, the guy at the counter was very helpful and polite.

What a hidden gem of a place. Great staff and so many games. Wish I had known about this place years ago. They have special events so be sure to join the Facebook group to learn more about those. if you're looking for a gaming community this is a great place to start most any night you can find people playing games.

I came in looking for comics and graphic novels. They have a large selection of comics, graphic novels, and manga. There was a lot of people playing board games and D&D. I left with a few graphic novels. Definitely recommend this place!

I've been a customer of the owner's since late 1993. I've followed him through two location changes (all in roughly the same shopping center to larger retail spaces). While I don't buy comics nearly as much as I used to, he is still the first place I look for board games and role-playing games. To be honest, I will still check with him about comics, too. Back in 2012, when Avengers teased that supervillain appearance at the end, it was to Comic Cellar I went to grab a related Trade Paperback collection.

In recent years, he's expanded to have more gaming space, and events -- including Magic: the Gathering and various board games -- are usually held throughout the week, and are mentioned on the web site and on the store's Facebook page.

In all the years I've known the owner, he's never struck me as anything but fair and honest. He's knowledgeable about the product he sells, tells you the truth (even if it hurts), and always makes a point to at least say hello to everyone who walks in. He may come across as blunt at times, but I trust him when he tells me about something, or makes a recommendation. There's no other comic store I'd rather shop at in the...

I found this place online yesterday because I was looking for this Justice League comic and after calling so many book/comic stores, it felt like nobody had the comic I was looking for. But this place did! So when I called this place to see if they had the comic, the person I was talking to was very polite, helpful, and I could tell he knew his comics😄. When I stepped into the actual building, the place was very pleasing to the eyes, everything was organized and the vibe there was very welcoming. When I went to the front desk to ask where I could find the comic, turns out the person I was on the phone with was the boss of the building and he already knew what comic I was looking for without me even mentioning the name of it. And he had the comic saved for me on a spinning rack, which was just the cherry on top. My experience was amazing and I would...

walked in expecting to be greeted, was not agreed…..I just stared at it for the entirety that I was in the store… what is eager to see me walking out the door, as that is when I was spoken to on my way out. Before I left I asked the question as if I can sit in and read a couple of comic books, and was denied, even though I saw other people sitting and reading, didn’t feel comfortable in a store never coming back. -3/10 do not recommend

Edit: cool I understand the policy but that still doesn’t change the fact that I wasn’t greeted when I walked in but was definitely being watched as I “browsed” the selection of comics and mangas y’all had to offer, as well as only been spoken to as I walked out the door. Very uncomfortable and disheartening experience for a first timer and potential customer. Do better with...
