I didn't need anything sweet, but I wanted it. This place had nice reviews, so I felt comfortable making the extra drive for something sweet. I placed my order online since I was about 15 minutes away. I received the confirmation that my order was placed and eventually my order was ready right about the time that I pulled up. When I entered, I assumed there would be a designated area for pickups, no. I had to stand in line just like everyone else, wait for them to place their orders and pay, and then mention my pickup order. The order had not been made yet even though I'd received the confirmation, as I was hoping to hop in and hop out of the establishment.

CUSTOMER SERVICE One thing that troubles me about food service is the people who really don't like their jobs. The two young ladies barely greeted any of the guests, they looked dejected and tired, despite the colorful/playful nature of the room. Geez, just go home.

AMBIANCE This place is NASTY. The ice cream scoopers are laying in the ice cream as the unhappy servers use their ungloved hands multiple times to scoop ice cream, take money, touch the register etc. Gross. Batter is splattered on the walls and on the sides of machines which is slightly understandable. Slightly. But come on... consider what your guests are doing while they are waiting. Regretting is what they are doing.

FOOD Tbh, it was just okay. I purchased a funnel cake and a blue raspberry shake. And it was MEH.

Will NOT return. Maybe downtown location is better. But...

We went this past Sunday night. There’s a weird smell in here. I don’t know quite what it was, but I expected it to smell better for a ā€œsweet shop.ā€ There were two girls with braids working with another girl. The Caucasian girl helped us and wasn’t very nice. Not only did she seem put out when we wanted to try a few flavors (we tried 2, not 20), she made the smallest 2 scoop cone for me I’ve ever seen in my life. This thing was supposed to cost me like $7 with my waffle cone! She also went ahead and made my roommate a cup of something she sampled and she didn’t even ask her to. She felt bad for saying she didn’t ask for it so she just paid for it and ate it (she actually liked mine better after she tried it and wanted it instead).

So I got to the register, didn’t say anything, whatever. First experience, probably won’t go back. One of the African American girls checked me out and remarked on how small my ice cream was so she only charged me for 1 scoop. ā€œSorry, that’s not what our 2 scoop cone is supposed to look like.ā€ I didn’t even have to say anything! She noticed and made it better! Both of the girls with braids were super friendly and helpful. The third girl then proceeded to ask me TWO MORE TIMES if I’d paid for my ice cream. For real? I guess she thought I was trying to leave without paying. Check your...

This place is a sweet lover's dream! It has snow cones (flavored snow) that are as smooth to eat as butter. They also have funnel cakes, dipped oreos, dipped and candy covered marshmallows, pretzels, and rice crispy treats. They also carry flavored and candied popcorn. Not to mention they also carried candy by the pound that you can pick and choose from. Soft served ice cream is there as well as specialty ice creams like red velvet and cheesecake. These are so delicious and can be brought by the scoop or the pint to enjoy at home at your leisure. I recommend the cheesecake or Reese's ice cream in the pint. Everything is made in house and fresh at that. Pictured you will see my tigers blood (supposed to be) and Donatello, with is grape and green apple mixed together, flavored Snow. FYI, just watch to make sure you get what you ordered, cause it can get busy and mistakes can be made. He gave me cherry instead of tigers blood. It was no biggie and still tasted Great! So I didn't make a ruckus about it. They also have a rewards program through clover and it adds up every time you purchase something to get you after 10 purchases, a free small flavored Snow. The owner is such a nice man and makes me wanted to come back to his business. I love that it is small business and it is...

My husband loves this place for their funnel cakes! We can never seem to make it here in the light of day. Whenever we go it's like 15-30 minutes near closing time and guess what!?!? Each time we're met with smiling faces and amazing service....if you live in this current world of customer service you know that's nothing short of AMAZING. Outside of excellent service they're killing the funnel cake scene HANDS DOWN! Their funnel cake is ALWAYS light, fluffy and hot with the perfect balance if crispness. I usually don't get a funnel cake the size of them are so huge...I usually just share some of the hubs (I'm sure he doesn't like it, oh well, lol.) Last night tho I needed my own! And boy did I get one! I'm so extra when I have dessert cravings. So, I got the turtle funnel cake and add fresh cut strawberries, waffle pieces and soft serve ice cream! Y'all when I say it was EVERYTHING!!! I MEAN IT! First of all the ladies of Q-Sweets kindly adhered to all my additional topping request with a smile and presented me with the most beautifully appealing funnel cake that met all of my demands exceptionally...even with ice cream on top my funnel cake was still soft, hot and crispy...HOW SWAY!?!? Q-SWEETS my husband and I are LIFERS....Thank you so much!!

We were looking for a casual dessert place for Valentines, and we ended up going to Quintessential. The first impression of the place was ok. It smelled of fried food, which was welcome considering we were looking for something more than ice cream. But the place looked a little cluttered. It’s an odd-shaped store, but I think they could give it a more welcoming atmosphere, maybe less coolers out front and more tables. We ordered the cookies & cream funnel cake. It was very good! I wish the cream topping on it was less icing-like so it didn’t crumble. We also took it home to eat since they didn’t have tables set up, and I’m just hoping that the cake was more crispy when it was fresh than it was after 15 minutes in a styrofoam container. We also got the cheesecake milkshake. That was really good! Sadly, the cheesecake bites would get stuck on the bottom of the straw. I’d suggest they get those large straws people use for boba drinks for this reason. The service was very friendly and helpful. No complaints there! Overall, it hit the spot! I think we’d only make a return trip if we wanted another funnel cake. The ice cream was just typical of any other creamery.
