Escapology Escape Rooms Memphis — Attraction in Bartlett

We celebrated my daughter’s 14th birthday at Escapology Bartlett and it was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! Our party host and game master Ashlynn was EXTREMELY attentive, sweet and ensured EVERY DETAIL of the party was an absolute success!

The party room was so much more than I expected, and they allowed me to come early to set up my food and decorations (it also helped that I had the entire time the kids were in the escape room to set up).

The party room features a long dining table surrounded with oversized leather style cushion chairs. There was ample space for all our guests (Ashlynn brought in a few extra chairs for the main dining table for us). Along the perimeter of the spacious room are two long tables with plenty of space to set up food/cake/drinks/gifts. There are two separate couches and a few single seater chairs - plenty of space to lounge. There’s a large dry erase board so guests can draw/write funny messages for the birthday girl (you could use it to play games like Pictionary) and a large wall mounted flat screen television. The tv provided us video and audio of the kids while they were solving puzzles in the escape rooms - this was HILARIOUS to watch since there were SO MANY jump scares followed by endless laughter! The tv also provided the kids with a means to play music/tik tok/you tube - whatever their choice of entertainment while hanging out in the party room after completing the escape.

There is use of a kitchen, fully equipped with a refrigerator, sink, microwave, and some various kitchen tools - this was extremely useful for final touch ups of the cake, cool storage of some of the food items for the hour the kids were in the escape room, as well as cleaning off my kitchenware for transport back home after the party.

I also want to mention the facility is immaculately clean and very well decorated. You truly feel like you’re walking into a mysterious place, so there was already an excited buzz amongst the kids even before the escape room experience began. My daughter said the escape room was like stepping into the set of a really good movie. We have been to many escape rooms - this is the most impressive one she’s been to (the kids did Seven Deadly Sins).

I humbly would label myself as somewhat of an escape room champion and know my way around a few rooms. I was 12 and 0 before coming here. WAS. I am now 13-1. If you think this is baby's first escape room, you are very mistaken. These rooms were the first time i really felt stumped and a lost for directions. The unlimited clues are a God send. As of this review, I've only done 7 deadly sins and the pirate one. I sadly did not escape the pirate one (was 70 % done and only had one other partner) and had only 49 seconds left in 7 deadly sins. I'd honestly recommend you have two or three people in your party who are used to escape rooms cause these bad boys are intense in all the right ways! This place bleeds atmosphere. If I could give Escapology more than 5 stars I would. To start, my family loves escape rooms, even more now during the pandemic because it's something we get out and do together. Escapology is the best value in town and a great hidden gem. We have a baby due in our family and my wife and I wanted to do a fun gender reveal for the parents-to-be. I contacted Katlynn at Escapology with what we were trying to do, and she immediately said she had a great idea to incorporate the reveal as part of the escape room. We gave Katlynn the sealed envelope and left it all in her hands. I will say that Kaitlynn and her team went above and beyond what I was expecting to make this happen.
