Today I received a phone call from Johanna at Painting with a Twist and she was very rude and disrespectful to say the least. Johanna called me as if she was doing a survey to see how my last experience at their establishment was. I began to tell her how much I enjoyed my experience and that I would return. She immediately snapped and said “then why are you disputing the charge on your credit card, I am recording you and I’m going to be turning this recording over to the DEA! You and your guest are banned from coming back here!” I told her that I was not sure what she was talking about that she needed to contact the person who made the reservation and who’s card was used. She continued to holler and scream at me in the most disrespectful manner. I advised her yet again that she needed to contact the other party and not me. I provided her with the phone number of the other guest and proceeded to contact them myself. Upon contacting the individual and telling them what happened, they proceeded call PWATBR but at the same time Johanna was contacting them. She tried to give the same spill about doing a follow up on the experience that was had and then she went off yet again. During the exchange the individual advised her that the card used was compromised and contacted the bank for her to speak with. Upon contacting the bank she was advised that they sent a letter out in which she never responded to and that’s why the bank was disputing the charge. She began to apologize to the individual and they advised her that she needed to apologize to me. Johanna said that she would send me an email but the other party insisted she talked to me and they called me on three-way. She gave a an apology that was not sincere to say the least and told me that we are welcome to come back. Before Johanna called me, she should have done her research. This is the WORST display of customer service that I have ever received. This issue had nothing to do with me being that I was listed on the reservation as a guest and the card was not in my name. I will NEVER visit this establishment again and I would advise my friends and family not to...
Read moreI brought my two daughters and my friend for a painting class to squeeze in a little extra summer fun before school. This was probably my 6th or 7th painting and we have always had so much fun. The teacher is usually funny and outgoing and the subject matter is usually appropriate for the 2 hour class. This past weekend, we went in to do the turtle painting because it looked so cute. When we got there, the instructor informed us that we would be doing quite a complex painting. It would've been nice to know that before hand so that we could've chosen a painting more appropriate for children and my friend who was a first time painter, but still we chose to paint. The instructor had quite a flat affect, and the entire painting felt like we were running 90 mph. My 10 year old couldn't keep up and eventually just gave up on painting and my friend also began doing her own thing. Being experienced, I still struggled to keep up but I did manage to finish a rough draft. When we were done, I asked the instructor how long I had to dry my painting before putting it in my car and he kind of snappily said "About 1 minute". So I just walked out with my wet paint, and we spent several more minutes in the parking lot and no one else walked in for the next class, despite the instructor rushing us along. Usually I would give this business 5 stars easily and would rave about how good of a time we have, but this time was very different. The instructor was pessimistic and rushed us through a very complex painting in 2 hours that I believe should've been moved to maybe a 3 hour slot or had the background pre-done and just the turtle would've been up to the painters. Anyway, I wish this experience had been more pleasant and I'm disappointed that we spent almost $150 to be rushed...
Read moreI wish that I can rate this place 0 stars but the option was not available. This place is a tad bit terrible with their planning. Apparently if you purchase tickets in advance you run the risk of being cancelled. I spoke with Lauren who had me in all types of excitement to know the there was a class available on a Sunday due to terrible traffic that prevented us for coming on a Friday. The morning of I'm attempting to purchase 4 more tickets and did not see the link to secure scheduling. So I called. I was told my refund was being processed because of low sign up. My class is for 1pm it is currently 9am. Therefore logistically and just poor customer service they couldn't figure it out. I guess 7 ppl not being satisfied with a service is a good look. Well sorry painting with a twist but it is not. And totally unprofessional to lie and tell me you called and I don't have record of that call. Poor taste you left in my mouth. And as far that engagement event I was planning for 30+ people. It's just safe to say I'll take my business else where. Good luck to those independent artists whose hosting private parties. Hope those small time artists don't run you out of business like the one in Prairieville. DONT GET YOUR HOPES UP FOR A...
