Lion's Park — Attraction in Battle Mountain

Have enjoyed this park for years whenever I drive from the Bay Area to Jackson Hole with my dog and do an overnight at the wonderful Big Chief Motel. We always stop the next morning at Lion's Park and enjoy what it has to offer. But this time, it was even better... It now has a dog park! Although not the biggest dog park you may have seen, still a very reasonable size for a small city as this and did just the trick for what we needed! Let me tell you a little something about Lions Park of Battle Mountain, Nevada. It's a fresh, new-age public park that is great for kids! There is a horseshoe pit for adults, or kids. And there is also an area set aside and fenced off for your dogs to play. My kids love this park. Its right by our house. But their are shady people hamging out there who bother my kids and smoke weed and whatever else. And also leave their dirty needles tgere in the playground where anybody can step on it or pick it up.
